What's the recommended hours of straight sunlight during veg and flowering?

Ooh you have opened up a can of worms here..

Depends on the growers method/opinions and also dependent on whether it is an auto or photoperiod & perhaps even dependent on the specific strain.

My simple answer is...as much as possible
get them beauts in the sun for as much as is possible especially during veg! & the same during flowering if autos.
If they are photoperiods give them just short of 12 hours per day:gthumb:

Well they get sun 90% of the day but I was more wondering if I can put them in a shadier spot during flowering got protection against planes. Not sure how important sun is during flowering.
