Red poison seedling has LED light burn

I don't think your are in for any probs mate, Like Krypt and Corgy said your gona be fine dude.

:toke: hey bud-- Hmmm, how close were the lights to begin with? Was it at near or full power?....typically about 18" or more, wattage depending, for seedlings which want less intense light,... But I'm not so sure this is light damage, given how the MG is reacting, and it's not likely a defc. issue-- too soon, and she still has those cotly's to draw from,... she looks to be keeping pace with the MG too,... could be just a wonky seedling,... lets see if she colors up after this lighting change, and watch her growth speed,... might want to double check soil pH too,...

Hey Waira thanks for coming to rescue once again:toke:The LED was initially 30 cm away and was set to 60W which is almost at full power in the vegetative mode of max 80W and 150W in flower mode. The med gom did not experience this intense LED light for so long because it popped out of the ground 2 days after the red poison and I have turned down the light intensity as soon as I saw that red poison's first pair of leaves started to turn yellow. First I also thought that it might be a PH issue but the poison's leaves were perfectly green and healthy for the first 2 days and I only saturated the pots with water a few days before planting the seeds and have not watered them again. Unfortunately I do not have the soil probe to check the soil PH accurately.
I really hope that she will recover soon because otherwise I will need to replace her with a new red poison. I really don't want to put all my time and effort in trying to make something out of a wonky seedling when it is still early and possible to just replace her with a new and healthy seed.
How much time do you reckon I should give her to recover before replacing her with a new seedling? I really want a healthy red poison with the potential to give me those amazing colours. So I really need to make a wise decision so I don't regret to have kept the yellow poison alive when it is harvest time.

There is no problem there. Back off the LED to 18" for now and call it a day. The seedling will be just fine. Doubt it was the light anyways.
Thanks mate, I really hope that she's going to be fine again. However if she doesn't recover in a week then I think I will have to replace her with a new seedling. I just want a healthy and colourful red poison plant

No expert here but id like to pitch in:

1- What type of medium and size of pots are you using? Looks like a peat mix to me but i could be wrong. ( I missed that you mentioned the Biobizz light with the Myco, BH and RJ when i almost posted this and im thinking that might be a bit much for most auto seedlings that early with everything looking moist in the pics. Just a hunch but might be worth looking into...)

2- Was the light closer when it was at 60w Veg Power and how do you know its at 60? I dont really like the whole light dimmer knob thing they got going on and the panel dosent look all that great to me after shopping around these past 6 months along with being unable to find any journals using them. (Judging from what i could find about those panels in a short time frame)

3- Yellowing is not all that bad for the first leaves with a prenuted medium and a bit too much light from what i know. Best case scenario you made it a bit tougher and may of even delayed flowering a little which would be bad in nature but awesome for us or worse case you lose a bit of yield but could make it up in quality i think.....need to find my notes on that one but in short it could be awesome/good or a slight hindrance depending how things go.

Even i got lost in the 1,2,3,,,, at this point so forget about that....

If i was you and had enough space or could make more in the next month or two i would germ another Red Poison just for fun but if i couldnt do that i would wait 2-3 weeks to see how things go and worse case you offset the RP harvest by a month and start something else after you chop the Med Gom first to have so perpetual thing going and split the harvest work a bit and avoid feeding them the same just for it to be "easier" when your lazy. Some TLC goes a long way with these.

Edited 1, 2 and 4? before posting but going to leave the original train of thought there either way. I could be wrong either way but just doing my best to pitch in while i can.

(This was high rambling but should still be viable info none the less)

Hey guys, the situation is very disappointing. I waited a week for the plants to recover but unfortunately they got extremely stunted and their color did not improve. I pulled them both and planted new Med Gom and Red Poison on Monday. And the exact same thing is happening again. Plus I am now also fighting with gnats in the soil but I have managed to kill their offspring by using nematodes. Red poison’s first pair of leaves is yellow and the Med Gom is extremely stunted in growth. Now I’m sure I initially made the soil too hot for the seedlings by adding too much Bio bizz root juice, Bio heaven and mycorrhiza. My soil PH can’t possibly be off because the Bio bizz light mix soil has a PH of 6.2 and I initially saturated it with a solution (containing a lot of Biobizz root juice, a lot of bio heaven and too much mycorrhiza) that was adjusted to 6.5 so the soil ph should theoretically be ideal. I wish I had the accurate 8 soil PH tester to be sure but I can’t purchase it where I live. Hey @Waira I know you like the accuate 8 device but what is your opinion on the electronic soil ph devices…could you please take a look at this one and tell me whether this one is worth buying. https://www.bluelab.com/products/type/meters/soil-ph-meter.

My plan now is to pull the Med Gom and Red Poison AGAIN and get a new start with a new bag of biobizz light mix and keep things nice and simple.
