Ok so I started out with a 5x5x7 set up with 2 600 watt hid lights
I am finishing a grow in this tent and have taken one light out due to heat and also power consumption and needing the light in my closet for my vegetables seeds. So here is what I'm thinking
I am only needing to grow 2 to 4 plants at a time so I'm thinking about getting a 2x4x7 tent and using 3 5 gallon smart pots was Going to use my one 600 watt hid in the winter time as it helps heat my bedroom and then useing led in the spring and early fall was looking at the Mars reflector 144x3 says it'll do a 6x2 area so should give good coverage.
My question is with 3 plants be good in 5 gallon pots in a 2x4 set up? I'd reckon I'd have enough room I have 3 gallon ones now and the plants seem to be wanting a little bit more but I think 7 gallon would be over kill
Also I am going to change things up nute wise and go with the sea grow line up of the 16-16-16 and the 4-26-26 I'd think in a good organic soil this should give me much better results than I've had trying to add this and that as I go
Another think I was thinking was playing in hydro and getting one of the general hydroponics waterfarm kits looks like it would be a good place to start and pretty cheat to so If I don't like it its not a huge loss what do you guys think?
