So, I’ve contacted the following places :
Bright : wanted my email to send the info. Got nothing from them
Bava: responded but gave me no info, not even prices. And I reminded them and got zero response.
Ningbo Dericcson (drivers) : Pretty much instantly responded with the info required.
Canna : instantly responded and gave me all the info. Prices were quoted including shipping and was really good imho.
Meijiu : flat out lied, then tried to coax me into buying way more then I needed. It came out when another seller there told me the complete opposite. First they said they don’t sell it anymore, so I linked the add. Thenshe said MOQ 50, even so the add said MOQ 1.
Next seller there then said they sell it and MOQ is 1. So one of them tried to either make me buy more items or more expensive items.
WMLED : quick response and good info but everything very plain. Prices appear fair
The only ones in this list I didn’t feel treated like a little child are Canna,WMLED and Ningbo.
I’ve dealt with Ningbo before and their stuff is well priced and decent quality.

Anyone thinking of ordering from China right now might want to check what the implications of the current outbreak of corona virus might be to shipment of lights.
Not to be a Doink or nothing and even so you’re right (to a degree) but I can’t hear it anymore.

I don’t understand you Mr. P. Anyway, I certainly did not mean my post to dump on China or the companies there, I have deep sympathy for the people and companies caught in the outbreak. I just meant that it may be a bit risky to assume that business as usual applies given what is going on. If I were considering a purchase from China right now, I would at least ask the vendor how they would be able to handle orders right now. If no response, or no credible explanation, I would be inclined to wait to see how things go over there or order domestically.
We are by no means out of the woods with COVID-19 yet either. If the virus goes pandemic, lack of shipping from China will be the least of our problems.
They are not allowed to start work until the government says so. No real timeline here. They are pretty much in limbo. Some say they will resume on 17th, 20th, 25th etc but its really just a guess and to at least give clients a reply.

Yea yea... I hear nothing but corona this, corona that. This thread isn’t about wether it’s safe to order from China but wether the alibaba sellers are reliable and correct. That’s all I have to say to that.

Its cool bro. He was not trying to antagonise you. He was just being concerned. And he is right to a very large extent. Our lights comes mostly from a city called Shenzhen, located in the province of Guangdong. This province is among top 3 worst hit places in China, outside of Hubei currently.
Although not severe but the government sees it as inevitable. Therefore, they are commencing what is called "closed community management". Every residential community in the city is on "lockdown". Only ONE exit/entrance for an entire residential community. No outside visitors! You can only represent your household to go outside ONCE every two days. Even so, you gotta get a special pass prior. Vehicles from outside the city gotta register a day prior before allowed to get in.
Sales staff can work from home but very few factories are allowed to start work. The current situation can only be described as, to sit and wait for instructions from the government. Nothing else any of the companies can do!
Getting the virus from packages may be unlikely but I'd exercise caution and throw all packaging outside in the bin.
I am aware of that and don’t feel antagonized at all. I work with a lot of Chinese folks and they tell me a lot. It’s just that that’s all I keep hearing. The mass of stories becomes so much that people starting to not give a shit and that’s bad. That’s why I try to stay out of it.
