Hello. I am new to growing but enjoying it alot. Atm I am using t5 8 bulbs. I would like to try and run this up the wall and have LED over head.

Looking to spend up to 1k on some lights. My growing area is a 4x4. Looking for something that can grow I would say 9 plants. There are so many options and I am still looking but thought some one might have some good input :)

I would like one that will do well in the vegging and flowering.

I was thinking about getting 2 ms006 but I am not sure of what their spread is. then I heard they had some new LED lights coming out. So not sure if its better to wait.

Thanks!

New is nice, but with LED's tried and true is better. GN are a good choice maybe someone will have some input for coverage for you. Check out journals and reviews in the LED section.

Yeah been doing that for a few days. I am in no rush this time. Want to get I guess the best bang for the buck heh.

Great post!! I have a 4x4 tent and grow 5 plants in 5 gallon containers, and I have to tell you, it fills the tent!! I run dual LED and love what they do, but you have to ask yourself a few questions.
Do you want dual spectrum for veg and flower?(great for perpetual growing)
Do you want UVB included?(more trichome production)
I run dual California Lightworks Sloar Storms and like the final results, but they have a veg and flower switch, and that prevents perpetual growing, but if grows some fine plants. Here is a pic of the set-up

Those are 5 magnums at day 72 in 5 gallon pots and 2 Kush van stitch at day 68 in 3 gallon pots and those plants were all light deprived. There is a learning curve with LED and how far is too far from the plants and being too close. Best of luck!!!

I do have a couple grows on the bottom of my sig that you can check out as well. I have another grow around here from when I first started with Kush Van Stitch grow as well. You will find that led is great for growing, but things are a little different than MH/HPS. Here is a link to help, he can explain it better that I can type it.

hope this helps. If you are going to go with cali light works, they have a growers feedback program that you might qualify for. I will leave you with 1 last bit of advice, what ever LED company you decide to go with, make sure they have a great quality product, a great warranty, and are reputable. I went with the leds I have for the simple fact is, that are state side and their warranty is one of the best in the business. Hapy growing. Briman

I am really thinking about them. I like the swith on them. And you have had some really great results with that no doubt. Thanks alot man :) I am still re-reading your logs, (like to skim read first :P) That one with 772 grams. Thats around 6 ounces a plant, that is some very impressive stuff man. I can't wait to see how this next grow goes for you.

I haven't seen that program I will have to look for it. Btw, you mind saying how much you paid? Thanks. And did you order from that site? Doesnt look like they ship to address, but to some shops instead?

Watching that vid, very good so far!

I've not used the new GN unit yet but I have grown with Philips Rebel chips and the spectrum the new units will have,in very confident it will be an improvement on the MS0006.
