Extraction Resin

I have a golf ball size resin ball I have been saving for a while. I break off a piece every now and then to smoke when I'm out of herb. It gets me high so I know it has thc. Has anyone found a way to extract the thc from the resin? Like resin budder/oil.
I hate smoking resin because it hurts my lungs but hate wasting thc. With all the intelligent people on here I'm sure someone has figured something out.

Decarb the resin in any fatty liquids like butter, oil, or milk believe it or not. You can dissolve the resin in alcohol, or put it in a jar and spray it with butane/filter it and dry... Pretty much anything you want. Obviously the quality of the end product is determined by the skillful application of proper cooking techniques and the quality of the resin itself, but as long as it has thc, that thc is soluable and fully decarbs in 25 mins at 250 degrees f, so don't burn it.

Thank you! I have been wondering about this for years. I will try this out when I run out of buds and let you know how it goes. I'm thinking alcohol then evap it in a double boiler seems like the simplest way to go about this.:booya:

Or you could make some really trippy bacon... thats simple to me, but I'm a sucker for bacon.

It's only slightly tech depending if you can get everclear and hexane.

I just tried the Milk method and made some cana hot coco with mint. lol was gone for 6hrs..loved it! also made brownies with my cana butter ..good stuff!
