Now here is the problem I have and always will , I have a very limited choice of soil , now I can get , a not to bad a one from the local hardware store but it is pre fertilized , so what I am doing now is flushing it many times before I use it , I also use about 30 % perlite maybe more and I was thinking of mixing in seedling soil , I have chlorine in the water which I am about to set up a water filter to take it out , so what I am thinking is after a grow can I reuse the soil if I was to flush again then reset the soil with all the fungi ect . :dunno:

If you are interested in high yields, then you have to pick up your soil very carefully. There are many grow shops in Australia that sell proper MJ soils like Canna Terra pro.

This is the bottom of soil in an airpot, that had hosted a plant (135g dry) for 70 days exactly. Do you really think you can and may reusing something like that. Everything is totally occupied by roots.

All the fungi and usefull bacteria yes, but also salts, nutrient lockouts and many things that you do not want there at the very beginning.

Hey hecno, you can absolutely reuse your soil if you have the right amendments and soil biology. Roots breakdown and turn to soil again as long as there are microbes present in the soil. You don't even have to start out with a store bought soil. I've never bought soil. My grows have all been with soil that I have made myself. Check out my current grow in my signature. She's a monster and I have no doubt that she will be a high yielder. I'm nothing special though. I only started my indoor growing last Summer. I just did my homework and made a proper soil mix and she is growing herself. I've never once checked soil pH or pH'ed my water or what have you. It easy peasy.

Here are a couple of links that got me started.

Another option is making your own soil less mix. All you need is sphagnum peat moss, perlite and dolomite lime, all of which I would think should be available to you.
