Mephisto Genetics Ripleys OG hempy-watch me fuck it up

I havent had ph issues with vermiculite. What i have seen though is hardpan form in the rez. Maybee its got something to do with the finer vermiculite fines working there way through the chunky no4 perlite as i feed....eventhough i flush the ever living piss out of everything with a hose before potting. i think im going to chuck the perlite/vermiculite and fill her back up just perlite. Thanks for the tip

No problem man, I’m having issues like this, and mY feeds are on point, ph on point, it’s 100% my vermiculite doimg the swinging of PH behind my back

Strain sensitive tho it seems :/ as I have 7 uneffected hempys :/ and 3 rly rough ones....

My Sour Cracks aren’t happy and I can’t do anything for them

Look at the leaves of those 2 plants...

That’s what to look forward too w too much vermiculite

A tiny bit might be okay, but multi-feeding is where it’s at as far as plant health goes

I know im super tempted to run her on mc from jump street, but gotta be frugal. Ive got 5 other soilless plants on mc at the moment, and i might have enough of the last 750g promo to finish those gals out. If anything goes hanky nute wise, ill make the switch back mid cycle and get more on order. These hempys just blow through the nutes...

Went ahead and redid hempy just perlite last night.xplanted today-went unhitched. Thank the weed Gods. Ive had bad luck last time starting seeds in plugs. Last round i was going to run all 4 mg testers in 2gal hempys until they damped off from stem rot. Lesson learned-dont directly water the plug after xplant. I also used rapid rooters-which now im finding out are better for soil/coco and rockwool better for perlite. So i went old school on ripley and filled a cell in a plug tray with some soilless mix i had leftover. I ammended it with extra lime in hopes it would bind/hold the plug together-and it worked. Perfect timing too once the plug was out, there was just barely visible about an 1/8" taproot.
Shes getting ro water with 1/16th tsp sweet candy, 2ml hydroguard ph6 for the first week. Adjusted light levels with lux meter, converts to a 24 DLI. Just measured 36" off cobs in tent, what i normally start pots at, and adjusted cob height until same reading. Its crazy how much closer your lights need to be without reflectivity. I think the autocob ended up like 22" off the bucket. I will add a layer of hydroton over the weekend. Thats all for now

Here we go...long time so long update. So i almost culled her already. She was my insurance against a small crop, but then said small crop blew up and i quickly ran out of room. So she sat in the corner of the room without any real light, or water for a week and a half. Shes been suprisingly resiliant and i couldnt kill her off shes trying too hard. So i moved some more plants outside the tent to make room for the AvT, and fitted ripley right in the corner. Shes recovering well growth is back on track albeit shes small-i wouldnt even be mad if i stunted her at this point. Putting her in a 4gal hempy (to the rim) was a bit overzealous she would outgrow my 3x3 by 6 weeks i think...
