If anyone else is looking for a cheap yet decent LED tryout or just to add a little light, Amazon has this Make/Model on a prime lightning deal right now for $55! It will be up for about 5 more hours...
Your first comment scared me and the second comment was relief. Mass production and profit causes these prices to be this low. The key is the quality of parts. I have personally seen exposed heatsinks wrapped in hestshrink tubing. If that wore out it could easily catch fire. It's good for getting started but I really have little tolerance for companies that sell things like this.
Hahaa.. Yeah, I just got em to play around with. I run a 600w hps... Figured I could use these as side lighting or play around with mixing hps and led. I figured that for the price of a new super hps bulb, that it couldnt hurt too much. Definitely not banking my grows on these lights! Are there places that do the cob conversion as a service or is that all diy?

Sorry for the late reply. It's all DIY. I have helped plenty get lights converted over in the DIY section. Usually a bit limited and subject to the cheap drivers that come inside of them. I can help you when your ready
So I have the Roleadro 600 watt and I'm not sure what distance to hang it. My plants are 32 days old and very very short. Like 6" tall. I believe it's due to the lights having quite a bit of light in the blue spectrum. Light was 30" during seedlings stage and moved all the way down to 12" in preflower. Now I'm late preflower early flower and moved up to 24" as some people have suggested to me.
