Hi guys, im winging it tbh with what bits of knowlege i e picked up on forums and google 🙈
Anyway i e got 4 autos on the go lre flower / early flower stage, i have a white widow, northern light (first 2 choices as i read these were hardy strains and thought maybe more forgiving for rookies) then i got 2 hulkberry autos, all from royal queen seeds.
I germinated 1 of each strain in biobizz allmix with a few handfulls of perlite and the 2nd hulkberry was germinated in a 50/50 mix of allmix and coco.
I fed water for around 3 weeks and then i did mess up a little bit and fed too strong 1ml/l of bio bizz grow that was bedtime i woke up and i decided to flush a bit with water just a little run off as i didnt think drowning them was a great idea 🤷 anyway i fed water again when they'd dried out then i fed 1ml/4l of grow and fish mix and 0.5ml/4l of cal mag as i convinced myself they needed it, 2 days later i fed only water again, then 8 days ago when id checked on them i noticed they were going into pre flower (white pistols) so switched my feed to flower, i started with the same ration 1ml/4l bloom 1ml/4l top max and 1ml/4l fish mix... Then water next and same feed again yesterday....
Also ive sprayed neem oil every 3-5 days

So thats basically everything ive done apart from hunt for bugs on them.... Since before the feed started they have had few brown spots ere and there and also holes in the leaves, this has gotten a bit worse..

And that brings me to today, i thought id ask you lovely people for some help and advice yo give me the best chance of not wating my time 🤣 i will add pics in the following post.

Welcome to AFN! Plants look healthy but you're gonna want to get rid of those bugs ASAP before it flowers. Bugs in flowers will ruin a grow. Neem has never been close to enough for me. Neem only kills critters on contact and to some degree repels, so it won't get the ones that come out while you're sleeping. Depends what country you're in, but look for products with spinosad. It's organic and works well for lots of bugs. If you're US/Canada lost coast plant therapy has been great for me. Also organic

Hi thanks for your reply, im in the north east uk so i thinks its unlikely i will be able to pick something up local unless it is not a cannabis specific product that i could pick up in a garden centre, so i may have to order online and wait a day or 2 🫤.

This looks like earwig damage....you gotta a forkytail.... :headbang: ...check under your pot...they tend to hide there...

This is a leaf miner...and although annoying don't really affect the plant..........pretty standard for outdoor...we don't smoke the leaves...

Ex-NE UK myself...top tip... don't overfeed them if the weather is overcast and drizzly...:watering:..over feeding gives them mold... IMO

Apart from that...they look Fine to me.......:headbang:...good luck...

Earwig 👀 honestly the last thing i expected i didnt know they fed on plants 🫤 everydays a school day i suppose, is thier anything in particular that you would recommend yo keep them away? As its a first time and also the fact im in the middle of an estate so its a possibility i will wakeup one day and they wont be there anymore im trying not go over the top on spend aswell? If eeds must they il have to but ...
Slighty rushed reply because im at work so excuse any typos 🤣

Yeah.. reasonably distinct...coz it eats the leaf from the middle...instead of nibbling the outside.
(net curtains:biggrin:)

Old gardeners tip was to stick and inverted plant pot with a bit of dried grass straw in...on top of a cane.

They go up there to sleep during the day....:headbang:...show growers use them for dahlias...coz earwigs love them......be prepared to move if you find one..they are fast.....and need a good stamp to kill them.

Get a pressure sprayer..1pint of water to a tiny drop of washing up liquid....spray the plant... especially underneath the leaves..
The washing up liquid acts as a wetting agent and drowns/suffocates most bugs.

Just don't overdo the washing up liquid...:pass:...

The Universal bug repellent is same as above...then add a couple of split garlic cloves and leave to ferment for a week or more.

If you spray a plant with caterpillars...they literally hurl themselves off the plant...it it hilarious....

But never stand down wind of it or you'll be hurling too....:eek2:.....

As soon as i get home il get the washing up liquid out, that will do for today until i order something.
Dont you worry when it comes to my little babies il be fast enough 🤣🤣 dont tell me about cattapillars doing that, once ive smoked il be hunting the garden for one to place on my plants and watch it hurl itself off 🤣🤣

Another worry i have which has been my main worry since i decided to try this was bud rot because night time humidity is too high most of the time and i imagine the spraying for bugs will help that alot, i know it will be a lot of effort (probably kinda of impossible) but i was thinking the last few weeks maybe trying to spray the leaves fairly heavily trying to shield it from the buds or do you think that would be a waste of time and bugs will just go for the buds? Sorry if these are stupid questions but a learners gotta learn ☺️

There's a thought...vaseline the bottom of the stem for the earwig damaged one.... :headbang: ..cheap..simple and available....

If your humidity is high anyway.... don't go adding to it by misting the leaves heavy....find some way to get a bit windy in there if you can....high humidity is a problem...:headbang:
