How important is it to have a closed grow area? My grow areais about 10’X12’ and am doing CFLs in the closet but want to try a 400 or 600HID lighting kit. I have no cooling in the room and can’t install one so wasthinking could just use a corner of the room and make 4’ walls with the topopen and mylar cuz the closet is to small and am sure it will get to hot also can’tvent outside. How much heat do these pout out? I am just worried about summer time when its +95* out side. Ican have my dark period during the day to kelp combat heat a little but will itget a room to hot if I can’t vent outside?

Hey Joe there has been a few members that use the corner of the room to grow in using say 3walls in a corner and leave the rest open so that would be fine mate.. As for the heat get yourself a portable aircon unit it would get quite hot in there with a HPS and in the summer :dance:
