Grow Mediums ROUND 2 (TAP WATER GROW)

Hi there mate,it may just be the light but looks like maybe abit hot on the nutes, and when you say Advanced nutrients that makes sense, it's very hot stuff, I use it also.
basically I just ment maybe alittle less grow nutes, possible slight nitrogen toxicity, when leaves go to dark green that's a decent sign. Perhaps dial back 50ppm probly do the trick. ;)

Thanks will do..

Actually from what I read because I was using the three-part groceries before I switched to floranova the micro has plenty of nitrogen to last you to the end of flower so you could probably cut the grow nutrient itself

Sweet I'll try that on my next change to see how it respond..

I tried to add more micro and more bloom with a little less grow. Doing so caused me to raise ppm to 787 by mistake. Hope it's not to much. How much longer do I feed nutes until I start to flush

Haha yeah might be abit much ,The idea is to find the sweet spot between the meters for them. As you know through both meters you can figre out just about everything there doing at the time ,basically depending on strain, pheno and environment they all have a pre- diffined spot they like the reason i say this is because you've gone up up up and that might be ok ,we cant say because only you know where shes at,but they normally come back down a bit and plato before flush ..a common example might be ..
week 9=600ppm week 10 =600ppm then suddenly she stops drinking nutes so hard at 10.5 weeks and you know this because the Ph has started to go down instead of up ,or you find out through your ec meter because your a good gardener that checks a lot and so you re-find her sweet spot at 400ppm. ,in answer to your question, you need to check the Trichomes or do a pistil check. There's more info on how to do this on the site ;) GL

In ear people saying that they take their nutes to levels like 700 800 ppm during. Flower to gets bigger buds.. I should have stayed with my original plan she was doing her best at around 500-580 ppm

Yup spot on ,The old way of thinking was indeed just that but since then we've come to our senses ,damaging plants isn't conducive to there health they just need some elements to pick up with all the quality h2o there drinking up. your old plan was indeed the right one i think . even monster plants dont need a ton of ppms what they don't need just builds up in the plant and the water causing all sorts of bad s**t to happen. i ran my last big girl on 400 at the end her peak was 600. which is pretty standard (but not always the case of course strain /pheno/enviro dependent).

In any case let her tell you if shes drinking ppms at a good rate not to fast not to slow your in the goldilocks zone ,if shes just drinking water with a small amount of ppms and the ph is stuck or going down you know its to hot. hope this helps ;)
