New Grower Round 2

I will look back at the first grow, but I don't think the pistols ever turned brown on it.( NortherLights ) It is 103 days old. I was trying not to worry about how old BUT 103 and I need some :stylez rasta smoke: It has def been putting on weight and that seems to have stopped the last few days. Actually I tried just letting this plant go without checking run off. I have been pHing going in but due to the OF having a poor run off reading coming out I have just been letting her grow. Now She is looking pretty rough here at the end And I am not confident on trying to correct any issues this late in the game. I know I will go back to checking run off and watching a lot closer on the next one. anyway I will put some pics up in a few after I chop and trim. Dang no BOM on this ugly thing. Thanks for stopping by. If I were a little more experienced I might try to let her go another couple weeks, but after you see the pics you can maybe tell me what it is missing or had to much of.

End of Round 2

Well, I won't know until I sample the goods, how well she turned out. Again THANKS A MILLION AFN for the help, I learned some good lessons on this one, so maybe Round 3 will be a KNOCK OUT. Maybe I can get me a Knock Out before the Tenth Round LOL :Stones slap: While I was taking her down she didn't look as bad as I thought she did, but I know she had to have some issues maybe you can tell from the pics. I will be doing the brown bag dry and then in mason jars. I will let you know how she taste when I get into it. Thanks Again AFN

Nice harvest, congrats! Will you make some edibles with the trim? I just made some brownies from Automazar trim, they turned out great. Definitely worth it.

I just used one of those brownie mixes where you add oil and eggs. I just replaced the oil with some cannabutter. It said to use 100ml of oil but I used 140g of butter instead. The butter I made with 12g of automazar trim and 150g of butter in boiling water. I let it simmer for about and hour. I like to de-carboxylate the trim in the oven first for 20 minutes at 120C. The trim I used was basically only sugar leaves close to the buds. In the end I cut it into 16 brownies but I usually only eat half a brownie at once, they're pretty strong. The rule of thumb I found is to use twice the amount of trim compared to using bud.

Yes I made the butter on the first plant, however it tasted so strong I did not like it. Maybe I did something wrong. I Guess it is like growing "practice makes perfect" Not sure how to describe taste the but it was bad, organic maybe. I will just keep experimenting I really like the idea of edibles maybe I can keep lungs a lil cleaner. I tried making the suckers or lolipops but they had that same taste but with the cherry flavor I ate them anyway. Can't say I really got any buzz at all, so I know I screwed up somewhere. It is all still so new to me I am having a ball anyway.

The way I do edibles is 1/2 once trim into a processor, chop down fine. Place one cup of oil in crock pot, first press olive oil, and trim and set to low. Leave it in there for 6 hours. Let cool a little bit and strain through a coffee filter. And now you've got one killer batch of oil. I've got a small crock pot, holds maybe 4&1/2 cups max. Hope it helps.

Yes, the butter had a weird taste, even the brownie batter tasted odd, but once they were done I couldn't taste it anymore.
