March 11 - Day 13

IMG_20140312_001857.jpgIMG_20140312_002748.jpg

Started LSTing today. I'm using floral wire, it was tough to work with especially with the queens being so small. I think I'm gonna switch to string and hook in bobby pins around the top of my geopot. That way I can move them around if need be. Lots more bondage to come dazedandconfused! Thanks for stopping by man

Day 15 - March 13

Thanks Brian! More LST, soil is still moist, add more perlite next round.

First 2 orgy queen, last 2 chem queen.

Yeah man how much perlite did you use this time round?

My soil mix is 50% EWC + 50%B'cuzz Hydromix hp (70% peat 30% perlite) similar to pro mix Hp, plus the organic is ammended with a few tbs of kelp and glacial rock dust

So 15% perlite

I'm using geopots (similar to smart pots) and they get good air flow all the way around, just wish I had more perlite so I could feed more often but at the same time it's kinda nice not having to water as often as my current grow which is only the b'cuzz mix, watering that girl every 2 days

Edit: I also topped the Orgy Queen off with more EWC since the medium settled quite a bit, that's why there's noticeably less perlite visible on the surface than the chem Queen

I would advise you add more perlite next grow, any where from 20-50% but what you have in there isnt bad. I like to use a 50/50 mix or peat and perlite seems to work fine as long as i dont stun the girls with rough Lst.

Totally agree, I'm more so worried about the chem Queen and salt build up in the future in that heavy a mix

Next round I will try 70% B'cuzz and 30% EWC than I'd be roughly at 21% perlite in the lower range you recommended

How often do you feed in that mix?
