New Grower Royal Queen Seeds = Zambeza Seeds

Just some knowledge i'd like to drop (don't embarass me and tell me you all knew already or it was posted already).

Zambeza and RQS are the same seed company just with different prices and packaging.

So far only one strain from Zambeza seems to be unique to them (Notorious White) all other are the same and just have other names.

fe: Critical Dream Auto = Critical Auto, Blue Invader = Bluematic, and so forth. the same goes for all photos.

the difference:

well zambeza seeds are in general cheaper, but geneticly identical.

and ... the packaging of the zambeza seeds is the best imo. they put each seed in an extra pill vial and these are placed in a superb metal box with a nice data sheet and pic. kinda makes you buy em just to collect the boxes.


so me always goes for Zambeza now if the RQS seeds are the same. And like i said only one strain seems to be unique to Zambeza, and only a few to RQS, like f.e. the really two cheap packages kush and skunk for 9 bucks are unique to RQS.

now go and compare em yourself.

You know what.... I did not know that, Thank you for this helpful piece of money saving advice.
Like you say... I'll go check it out, I always like to double check things just to make sure, it will be interesting to see the price difference.
Just wondering how you know the genetics are the same/identical? DNA lab tests, insider info, same parent company or the same seed bank supplies both companies etc... call me inquisitive but it makes for a clearer picture.
Any more info gratefully received.

I'm not surprised about this; from reads on the net, in Europe there seem to be only 3-4 big seedmakers who sell bulk seeds to companies which label the seeds as their own. So many strains on the market are the same crosses but with different brands and hype names. Big seedmakers also make crosses on demand by seed companies.
I don't like this kind of business model, but in an ultracapitalistic world it seems to work very well.
There are quite a lot small breeders who also use same commercial genetics, and some who produce seeds from their own material, collected and selected in other ways.

Can't speak directly of the names, this is just to have a clearer idea on how this business works in Europe.

I got some info from a seedshop which told me some of their secrets, more or less. both are sister companies and yeah genetics are the same for both brands. ojnly zambeza has a really nice packaging imo, and is in general a few euros or like 15%-20% cheaper on their seeds.

I dont have any real infos on this, but i if you look closely at the strains from "The Daily Smoker", they seem awfully similiar too. Also the parents of the strains and the description is very similiar. So it seems to me atm that Daily Smoker belongs also to Royal Queen Seeds.

Just wanted to write that Mate they are also in the Rqs Complex my Mate from the Seedbank im breedin for atm checked that for me Rqs Zambeza and Rqs Are Family Brand and the Zamnesia Head n Seedshop belongs to them aswell
