Is that the Sour Crack? Wouldn't be surprised as I've a knack for picking the odd one out if it doesn't find me first haha To my untrained eye it looks like they tried to be nanners, then tried to be calyx's, and finally opened up to try to be leaves. Wonk location though. Interesting!
Ok got a question for ya's. Gotta admit that when you all were goin on about Moose poop for ferts I started getting a little green-eyed. Then the piles of "grapes" allllll the whitetail deer here can sometimes leave behind magically popped into my head, then "free ferts!" Googled results didn't reveal anything negative after proper composting from what I picked up; any crap can have e. coli, never use fresh, practice safe handling, and CWD is spread from contact with diseased tissue. If that's bad info would someone clarify, and if it's good please verify?
The other concern is what the deer are eating. Semi-rural, lots of farms, and a normal amount of vehicular traffic for the area. Would pesticides or run-off contaminants be an issue?

Yes that one is sour crack it really does smell nice like orange candy.
And not sure about the ecoli but manure is best composted first.
As far as pesticides the wild deer must eat much of the same crops the cattle do but don't get injections of steroids and other stuff so must be better IMO
