Can't believe people are tripping and filming it then sticking it on youtube for all their future employers to see ;+}

Very little is known about the pharmacology of Salvia so i hope it's relatively harmless for the sake of all these people.

I watched an old documentary on the subject and apparently, unlike most hallucinogens which get to work on the surface of the cell (to simplify the description), Salvia Divinorum gets to work inside the cells.

It was an old documentary so i'm sure there's more recent research to be found.

I did it once. Never again.

I bought the 80X concentrate from a head shop and took it home on my lunch break. I loaded up the old gravity bong and took a giant hit. After holding it in for what seemed like forever (little to no lung expansion) I exhaled. Immediately I felt like half of my face melted off. My best friend was with me and was talking to me but I was freaking out inside. In my head I was screaming to him "I'M FUCKING DYING" and he just laughed at me! I felt like he was there to watch me die and was having a wonderful time doing so (it turns out the "screaming" that I was doing was incoherent babbling, hence him finding it really funny). Suddenly I couldn't move any of my limbs and slid off of the couch onto the floor. The floor felt like it was made of sandpaper and almost immediately I had the sensation that a huge metal net was being pressed down onto me cutting me into squares. I then melted completely into the floor when my phone rang. I snapped out of the trip as quickly as I went into it but was left with a feeling of complete dread for the rest of the day.

No more salvia for Al.

Since I only took one hit I had a lot left over that I gave out to brave friends (with a warning of course). My friend Mike (he'll try anything!) took it home and loaded up his bong. I told him to let his wife know what to expect but I guess he didn't. He said he hit the bong and instantly lost all motor function. He fell backwards on the bed while his wife looked on in horror having no idea what was happening. He said all of a sudden the image of his wife shattered into millions of pieces and began speeding away from him at an astonishing speed. He understood this as his life slipping away from him and started grasping at the pieces while yelling "MY LIFE!!!" His wife was thiiiiiis close to calling 911.

edit: He didn't let his wife smoke it, she just watched him.

With regards to holding smoke in the lungs, with THC it doesn't increase the effect, i don't know about other drugs.

My pleasure Ye, a lot of people think it helps but it doesn't. It may feel like it does because you take a lot of air in then hold your breath but Science Says No !

I quite fancy some mushrooms after watching some Salvia nutters !

It's hilarious watching some of the younger experimenters trying to describe what it made them feel and they are just lost for words.
