Hi folks .

I saw this site on SS ,one or two members commented on it .
I'm only on two other sites and I don't post as much I have a few years ago . Just as eager though .

I've been growing indoors and out for ten years + ,but since 2008 I have never really stopped . Good soil in remote and isolated places is hard to come by . However there's lots of forestry and bogs but most of the time this requires bringing in coco and compost .

Anyway it was a bad year and at the moment I have some photo period plants in my attic . A few strains but c99 x exodus cheese and ak47 cherry pheno x Colombian black are the only odd or unusual ones .
I'm wondering though whether to change my style ,and grow autos in winter . Or start a dozen or so autos whilst vegging clones and then flip the lights when the autos are half or more than half way through their life cycle . I don't know really. I could run 20/4 and keep the cuts restricted . The attic space I'm using loses heat very fast . I've a 600w HPS up there and I'm vegging with a 250w MH in a dr90 in my bedroom .

I've germed some dinafem autos and I bough a mix pack from sweet seeds . I do find they're a little pricey when buying small . I hold off for promotions !

I only make hacks with autos ,and I've only ran a few generations of a short stuff backcross with sweet seed auto . They were ok outside but I wouldn't have a lot of confidence in them inside .
I am most interested in growing some of these vigorous seed that are out there now . Only the better producing ruderalis leaning strains do take a bit longer from what I've gathered reading diaries . So I'm too impatient for a 100+ day auto ,and I don't believe the stats on seed packs . Only for forums eh ?

With autos and outdoor plants generally ,I think over seeding a little is a safe bet . I have yet to get ten decent autos from a ten seed pack . There's always a runt or two !

Take it handy folks

Welcome, good luck in your adventure.

Thanks Roark and Atrain . I voted last night for BOM comp . I also looked at a few diaries .
I was surprised to see a lot of LED grows . Don't tell me they're better than HPS !? :growing:

Do you fellas upload straight from the PC/Laptop or do you use imageshack or similar ?
Can I use uploads from another site ? One site I use (uk420) ,don't like fellas uploading from the gallery of another site .
Where's the rule book ? I never read those!

I upload straight from cell.... and I'm not saying LED is technically better than hps.... but the mars 2 1200w panel replaced my 600w hps in my 3x3 and is doing a fantastic job.... only 4 degrees cooler....

Righto Atrain . Those burn half the watts or so it seems looking at the specs . A large LED
http://www.crazy-leds.com/en/shop/product/holographic-series-1-led-grow-light/ These draw 75ws but I'm not sure of the lumen output . I would invest in one if it saved electricity costs but I'm not sold just yet . I can't upload any pics because I delete them after I upload onto a forum . Protocol right ! Here's a BB code though , my attic

and a gooeybreeders flashdance that just won't reveg

Welcome my friend.

Keep posting and thank you kindly for doing an intro, eP.

Hey! Great to meet you!! I used to be a 1k hps grower a good decade ago, and just recently bought a pair of cheap leds well researched though. Firing up my microgrow with some portal strains. Going to be fun stuff!!
Sounds like you've got some prime stuff happening in sweets and dinafem!

Thanks guys . Nice place here .
These are my dinafem auto babies ! They're 11 days old . I threw 5 critical 2.0 into a 50 liter pot ,-5 litres ,three sprots showed and then one of those shrivelled up when I wasn't looking . I also threw three auto jack into a 35 litre pot and all three showed . I'm hoping they take off before the compost becomes stale and anaerobic . It's a heavy mix too .

I haven't watered them , just agev them a misting . Humidity's quite low so I'll leave a tray of water sitting on the clear part of pot .
Take it easy folks .
