Outdoor Sapphire's Garden 2013

They don't look bad, just like they need thinning out. Do you pinch the suckers off?
Um, suckers? I definitely don't pinch them off because I've never heard of them... I'd love to buy a clue tho, clearly, if it will help those 'maters look better! THANKS!

Wowser Sapphire.:jaw:

Your Ladies are looking just incredible.Holy Moly
You certainly know how to grow Photos.

It's hard to believe those plants are being grown in what, I believe 5 gallon Smartpots. Man I am just overwhelmed/speechless with how big and beautiful they are already.:tiphat::tiphat::tiphat:

I was just over at Waira's thread, and you said that you had hoop house envy, well my friend, I have serious Sapphire Photo envy, and I'm not just blowin smoke here either.

You can view my new thread here: My girls are in the hospital.:help:

I knew I was rolling the dice with trying to grow Autos and Photos, indoors and outdoors in TLO for my first ever grow.:face:

Actually I'm glad I did, I'm certainty getting to learn all the things NOT to do, and how to rectify the damage. As well as getting to deal with every pest known to this species of plant :D

Oh, by the way. My auto that turned out to be a Photo, that I thought was a she ended up being a he after all.:cuss: I was really bummed as it was so healthy and as it was the only photo that ended up in a 5 gallon container, I wanted to see how it compared to my 1 -10 gallon container, 3- 17 gallon and the 3 -30 gallon hot tubs.

I believe you have come to the decision that I have, and to concentrate primarily on just Photos for outdoor next year. I will probably grow a few autos just as a side note.

I also believe that you talked about the possibility of getting set up for growing auto indoors during the off outdoor growing season. It really doesn't cost that much for the initial set up, and with using T5HOs the energy cost is minimal.
Plus you could get a big jump on your Photo grow, and possibly get still get two rounds, if you grew some of HRs real early finishers. Just a thought.

Ok, I'm back over to that crazy Waira's thread to get a reply off to him. He has such an amazing sense of humor, and is also a very good trouble shooter with his vast knowledge of horticulture. The 2 times I have had to ask for help in the Hospital/Infirmary, I have PMed him to take a looksie, and give his assessment.

Be well my Bay Area friend and hope to catch up with you soon. I know that we are both crazy busy right now.

:peace:

:wiz: You're workin' some fine-ass grow Ju-Ju there, Sapphire! I've never grown a larger plant before, and that's too bad because they are such lovely looking plants- LOL! That Betty has me saying, "oooh,...MAMA!" :D Sooo cool,... I bet she's hiding all kinds of nice bud-sites under her lush canopy :brow:... Loni turned out to be a fireplug too, I see...her light color is interesting too... The group pics are great! All of them together like that, it's like a hedge ...-LOL! It's fun when they get big, huh! The 'squito netting is a fine idea, and should work wonders for cutting down the opportunistic vermin; on plants that size, it's lengthy chore to patrol the beat! Do you have a plan for keeping the netting in place at the bottom? **** Cripes! It's mid-July already! Have the ladies started sexing yet? :dance2:It that time... The aromas from your backyard are going to be fantastic! *sniiiiffff....Ahhhhhhhhh...*....looking forward to the next round of pics.. :smoke:

Hell yeah Sapphire now those are some sweet ass ladies bro. Love seeing them out in the sun shine. Cool: Here is a big ass :slap:

Thanks, jayp! I appreciate it stylez rasta smoke

My friends Stickman and Waira - thank you both for such thoughtful posts! I'm exhausted atm, so I'll re-join the discussion in the morning...:cough: Wanted to pop in quickly and let you know I appreciate your comments.

Overall, they look a lot different than those last pics - can't believe it was only a week ago! I went down to LA for an event and was gone for 3 days last week, came back to very wilted ladies (was warmer than expected, I guess, and hubby told me he "noticed them wilting" as I hit the backdoor to check on them LOL). Anyway, that was stressful for them, and the danged yellowing leaves are still plaguing a few ladies...

I'll be back tomorrow with pics and more conversation! Piggy Hug

WHO HAS SUMMONED ME?!

Just kidding! Great looking ladies sapphire! Indoor grows are great, but I just love seeing some healthy ladies under the sun :D

I am beginning to think the smart pots/fabric are better for outdoor grows than indoor (unless using high wattage lighting). Keep those photos coming.

:roflcry: Thanks Mr. Piggy! I love that emoticon - you must be getting summoned all over the place!

Here are just a couple of pics - I'm having a flare up of fibromyalgia, and the body aches are nothing next to this brain fog! I just don't have the mental energy to make many comments, but here are a couple pics to try to keep up here... stylez rasta smoke

The ladies have been moved a bit, and there is plenty to tell and more pics, but for now this will have to do.

OK, that wasn't too bad, climbing out of my hole for a minute - possibly more later, or soon. Or whatever!

:help:

Thanks sapphire. Hope you feel better. A few of members or their spouses have the same deal.
