Nooby question I know, but my recent findings and readings about canna totally confused me.
What's the difference between a sativa/indica strain? In terms of THC and CBD levels. I thought Indicas contained more CBD which explained why it's more a BODY stone than a cerebral stone. For sativas, I thought the THC was responsable for the "cerebral" high, which didn't make you sleepy or feel tired.

AFN is definitely the place for any cannabis related question so I ask you guys =)

As a general rule, your statements are correct; however, the timing on when you harvest also plays a role. Pulling early emphasizes a cerebral high and pulling late lends to a body stone. You can mix and match for fun. I love the effects of pulling a Kush early for harvest. Makes a fine balance between cerebral and body effects! Pulling a Kush late means nice bedtime meds!

Keep reading and you will become more versed. Sounds like you are off to a good start. Welcome to the forum!

Yes, that is a general rule of thumb, so to speak.

Individual strains have different effects, some can be the opposite of what you may think also. The best thing to do, IMHO, is to find a good strain that has the combination you want, and stay with it.

My favorite is a 50-50 hybrid (or close to it) Like Alien OG, or my new favorite, Super Skunk. Both good hybrids.

my two cents.

Eek

EDIT: I say "stick with it" like that is easy to do, I see strains and then I want to try them. rofl. That really isn't sticking though is it? Well I try to go for the 50/50's anyways.

Yeah I get your point. I'd enjoy any kind of weed tho, but I was wondering the exact commun definition and the scientific explaination of the effects you get from a sativa or indica
Thanks for helping
