Save the garden!

crazy indeed! I'm a variety slut myself, so I can see the temptations behind doing so, but it's a gamble at best,...
... AKR has been getting a bit of a rep' lately for being unstable, sloppy breeding, but stress can affect bloom timing and such,... if she doesn't start in a week, she might be semi-auto, and is now light sensitive,... only 12/12 will work to trigger bloom then!
... You can probably send the seeds back and swap, depending on the source,.. "complain" that you ordered auto, but got photo's! If you want to run photo's, I highly recommend Sweets F1FV family of them, with speedy blooming! Green Poison F1FV will blow you away with the aroma, potency and overall quality, a Staff favorite!

You just might have saved the garden again! :thanks:AKR doesn't really look like an auto. Anyway, worth a try - put lights on 12/12 timer. Will that be okay for the others? Planned to do a photo grow next. It's the last of three seeds, the others were fine. Thanks for the seed tips. Always on the lookout for stony, couch-lock effects.

:pass: Cheers leum! .... too soon to do that with the AKR, and in any case it's not worth it to compromise the yield and quality of the two others for the AKR's sake! If you're stuck with one tent, and no alternative place for a separate light sched', then you'll have to wait for the others to finish first,... BTW, do you see the preflowers on the AKR at the stem bases (has she sexed in other words)?...
 the Sweet catalog is here in their section, some go check out the F1FV line!

No, I'm not seeing pre-flowers on the AKR. What does that mean? It's growing much faster than the other plant's and I'm afraid it will overgrow them. Should I cut it out, whatever it is? Keep in mind - they're all in the same pot fed the same bloom nutes, at this point. Thanks, again. (Sweet Afghani Delicious sounds perfect!)

SAD is a cult status strain with staff! She's a Black Domina variant, very fine hashy-spicy bud! But GP is heavy handed too if that's what you like,...

Oh f*ck, that's riiiight,... Welll, that's a different matter now! Look at the top areas for the preflowers (a single calyx at stem bases)-- if this isn't a pic of that area,... in any case, now it's a question of leave it or cut it out,... she will likely justkeep veg;ing while the auto's finish up,.. then you can switch light sched',.. dunno if she'll grow so much as to restrict light, pot space and nutes from the others!--that's the gamble,... if not, and you want to start fresh photo's w/o wondering WTF this AKR will do,...:tang:

AKR's out of there - not a pistil anywhere on the plant. Narcotic Kush isn't flowering normally, but there's no reason to get rid of her yet. Some lights out time is a big help with temp and humidity. Maybe that's the way to go with this lamp. Sure learned a lot this time.

Hope you don't mind revisiting this old thread. The sheer stupidity of attempting to grow three different strains in one pot fed from the same reservoir produced an interesting experiment. The only variables are the genetics and the microclimes in the tiny tent.

Ten weeks. The empty space in the lower left is where the Afghan Kush Ryder used to be. The La Diva, in the back, appears to be much more mature than the Narcotic Kush, in the lower right. Most of her leaves yellowed weeks ago. Her trichomes are solid white like beads of elmers glue.

The Narkotic Kush still has an abundance of vegetative growth and mostly white pistils. Her trichomes are clear with little oil. She had a very rocky start, didn't think she'd make it this far.

Leaves trimmed from Narkotic Kush. Noticed similar spots early, attributed to gnats. Haven't seen many gnats after treatments in above posts. Also, this is only on Narkotic Kush. Any ideas, considering it's in very similar growing conditions as La Diva? Not too concerned. These leaves should be yellowing now anyway. Early harvest will make room for photo grow of three identical plants in three pots with three reservoirs with more space, ventilation and humidity. :wiz:

... looks like a pretty funky manifestation of P defc., might be in conjunction with another defc., like S, or micronutrients...? When they get this advanced, the diagnostic waters get muddied so it's hard to say sometimes what all is involved,... but it's held together well enough mate, nice job on getting them out of FUBAR City and on their last laps before harvest! :d5: :slap:

Aw, it's nice to see these pics after harvest. Get attached to the girls. :smokeit:

Guessing 4 oz total. La Diva finished early at 10.5 weeks. Seemed great, very sticky. Narcotic Kush wasn't ready and went downhill fast at the end. Some of the sugar leaves dried up and not very sticky. Like a whole plant of popcorn buds. Still, added up close to La Diva.

Thanks again. Glad to zip the tent on this grow.
