Hey all! First time grower here. I wanted to introduce myself.

I am growing indoors with:
2x Viparspectra 300W LED
3ftx3ftx6ft grow tent
100 cfm outlet fan running @60%
3 gal fabric pots
Light mix equivalent soil
Small ceramic heater
Cool air humidifier
Mephisto Genetics fugue state

I know I stunted one by accidentally removing its starter leaves with the seed hull. The others just will not grow and have barely moved in 10 days. They are 15 days old from sprout and only an inch tall.

My question is: should I start over or keep trying on these ones?
I can give more info when I get to my PC tonight. Also sorry about the lighting. The third one looks like CalMag deficiency to me and they all have beet red stems.

IMO there is no CalMag deficiency here. Autos are light feeders and at this stage really don't have any nutrient requirements or very little. This is why folks that grow autos don't like so-called hot soils, as they will nutrient burn baby seedlings that really don't need much for say their 1st 3 - 4 weeks of life.

You have great genetics, but something is obviously wrong as the plants are not happy and since it is all of them it is obviously something wrong in your technique or grow environment. Yes you should see more growth at this stage, and daily growth and also explosive growth spurts, especially with Mephisto Genetics.

I know a lot of growers whom would start over but I wouldn't, I would want to determine what went wrong, how to correct it, so I can avoid the same issue in a future grow.

Basic to growing:
Good light
good watering technique - over and underwatering is bad
good soil
good airflow/air cycle
less is more (in soil you don't need as much nutrient as many will lead you to believe)
Co2 source.

Thanks for the reply. I think I did not let them germinate long enough and then overwatered because I was eager. I also do not have a CO2 source. What can I use for a grow tent this size?

My germination process is simple, I simply pop a seed around 1/2 inch down in the soil, and water. several days go by and I lightly water again, usually day 3 - 5 I will become a new mother, as my baby will appear. When I water a seedling in is very little and around the plant as I want to encourage roots to search for water. I watch them closely as IMO this is a critical stage of life if I see signs of UNDERWATERING I will add a little. I do like to error on the side of less water.

Now Co2 sources can come from you, humans are a great source (so spend time in the garden), however there is a very beneficial product that works great with Auto's in grow tents. Exhale Micro Co2 bag which can be had on Amazon in the low twenty dollar range.

Co2 is key and often over looked, and I want you to think of it like this... Plants need Co2 and Humans need O2. What happens when you get up in a high altitude, do you get sluggish? is it harder to breath? the answers in general are yes due to the lack of oxygen your performance will be compromised, well the same applies to a plant, any plant, if inadequate Co2 amounts are available to the plant, its performance will also be compromised. A good Co2 source might not be the key to a healthy plant with vigorous growth, but it will certainly set the conditions for vigorous growth and health to be possible, allowing the plant to reach its full genetic potential.

The dry period is very important and I know it's hard to wait on new sprouts, but they do most growing under the soil, (roots), during the first couple weeks. Also, most growers don't supplement with C02 unless high grow temps are a problem. Anywho, just my 2 cents and good luck with your grow!

I would not worry about CO2 at this stage of the game. CO2 really only helps push elite grows up the last 5%. 99% of the successful growers in AFN are not supplementing CO2 because it's just not cost effective unless you are driving intense lighting and have everything else dialed in.

Just looking I'd say you either have a pH problem or your soil is too hot. At the 15 day point, I'm not sure if those are worth trying to save if it's a soil issue.

Thanks for the info. I think I may have been lazy with the ventilation too. I am bringing air in from inside because it is freezing outside and I am not sure how I could keep temps up while pumping in cold air. My output just goes to another room because I did not set up a spot to spit air out outside. Could this be an issue too?

Ure girls are very much stunted you have a very nice setup great genetics defo no calmag issue
I have seen seeds grow slow like this before and it uzaly comes down to cold soil I keep my soil warm and this is day 20 I have similar setup except 2x 300w mars hydro

hi and @10KBS good kit and genetics plabts are too small/too young to have a def of any sorts,even lightmix has enough nutes for 2 weeks normal growth.stunted...yes but hey first time out the box it happens to many,i overwatered my first grow to bin them no,start 1 more yes,or kill the weakest one off.Co2 is a waste of money unless the room is sealed,and even then its mostly pros chasing the last 5% or if you have money to burn.if its freezing dont suck air from outside.
and yes this site is a lot better on a confuser than a fone eg.signatures

Yeah, I didn't even think about the temps. If it's too cold your going to struggle with stunted plants.
