Curiously, the CG is drying with a strong smell of mango. Curious because the harvest from the very same plant back in Oct. didn't. And still doesn't. I don't have a very good nose for this kind of thing, but I've still got a couple jars from the first run and they just don't smell like much. The first run smells like mulch/loam and wool with an undertone of cucumber and spice. This run smells distinctly of mango with an undertone of cantaloupe. Weird.
Anyway, finally starting to see some pistils withering on the lower Chaze buds. Without much change in color, which seems to be the M.O. for Chaze, based on the grows I've seen. They just go from white to very pale yellow, which I find adorable. I didn't notice any amber trichs in today's pics, so no harvest anxiety yet. Tops are still putting on weight, but their "second wind" seems to be slowing down in the last couple days.
