Hi guys. I'm in the very early stages of my first grow and had to leave a sitter with my plants(colorado cookies 6.5 days old

) for 2 days. When I left the seedlings were nice colour with no spotting. I came back and one of my plants looks a bit shit. Leaves are canoeing a bit and the first leaves look scorched. Can someone take a look please and see if they spot anything anything obvious?
Thanks in advance.
Growing media-bio bizz light mix
Have only had water up till now but decided to bring forward feeding by 2 days when I saw the state of them.
From now feed is -sensi Bloom A+B and cal mag all at 25% of recommended dose.
The soil was dry when I got back. Not just the top but all the way(pots felt light).
As soon as I watered last night the leaves started pointing up(praying hands style). Any help welcome and apologies in advance if pics are sideways as can't suss this new phone yet. Pictures after this will be with a camera.

Cheers,
Will.

Forgot to mention I'm growing in a tent with a 600w Hps.

I'm also new to growing and have a 5 day old northern light auto. Your babies are certainly looking bigger than mine! I'm not sure, but it looks as though yours might be suffering from too much heat and perhaps the brown on the leaves are due to being scorched from having water on them under too strong a light. As I said, I'm not sure but I did read that canoe shaped leaves are a sign of heat stress. Good luck

If they're in soil, be careful about giving nutrients, especially if that's not the root of your problem because you might just introduce another issue. Did you try googling "canoe shaped leaves?" I'm quite sure it could be heat related

Hi man.. Thanks for comments.
I didn't Google but searched here instead. I'm 80% sure it's heat stress as my sitter locked the shed door which meant all the warm air from the tent was being fed back in. That,on top off, outside temp being 28 and no water (I watered them hard on Tues morning because we had to leave sharpish and didn't know when we would be back)for 36 hours has done it. The feed is being introduced at a very low dose. I'll see how they look tomorrow.im.just feeding Bloom and cal mag. New leaves looking nice and soft and green so I'm hoping it's just a glitch.
All the best,
Will.

How are they looking now? The brown spots won't heal but you want the new growth looking better. : ) I'm not sure exactly what that is at this stage, it's almost too early to have a deficiency, so I wonder if it's a toxicity to something.

Grab some fresh pictures and maybe a closeup, I'll see if I can round up my deficiency mentor, the overworked @Waira lol.

:toke: hey Will'-- ... not a defc. per se, from those symptoms,.. I think the combo of dry-out and low RH (?) stressed her out, and in soil, drying out causes a definite pH shift... think of it this way: as the soil dries, there's less and less water in there, increasing the relative conc. of all solubles and reducing buffering capacity... a sudden pH shift can cause a temporary slow down or lockout of nute availability too,... so, keep those babies nice and evenly moist! ...a good sign if newer growth looks healthy,...

Hi man,

Managed to get some more pics this morning.
This is day 11.
I've lifted the light a bit last night and they look better. Here's a few shots of the brown marking. Let me know your thoughts if you have time. The marking hasn't got worse and she seems to be growing ok for age? DSC_0219.JPG
I'm going to start using a camera which has macro which should mean better pics in the future. DSC_0216.JPG DSC_0216.JPG
Many thanks,
Will.

 new growth looks nice and healthy, and the affected leaves aren't too much worse, all good signs! just keep that soil nice and evenly moist, and yes, seedlings don't want as intense of lighting as older plants,... keep on the feed, and ramp up conc. gradually.. watch for yellowing at the very tips for early signs of nute burn, your hint to back down the conc. some,... :smoking:
