Day 39

Quick update.

Top dressed in some more guano, ewc, and cal mag along with a handful or soil. Most of it went to the skywalker and 24 carat. I’m pretty much out of top dressing room now, especially on the low profile 24c. I gave a smaller dressing to the samsquanch and the forum stomper since they both are starting to yellow on the bottom fans.

Day 40

Taco Tuesday!

At least, according to the forum stomper and the skywalker, it is. I lowered the light a couple inches over the weekend, but it looks like it was too much for these 2. I raised the light back to its original position. Leaf surface temp is around 75 so I know it’s not from heat. It’s only affecting the upper fan leaves so it has to be light tox.

It’s possible it could be from the top dressing but the other 2 I dressed are fine, so I’m leaning towards too much light.

Day 44

Yellowing is now occurring on all the plants. Going to add a top dress of guano and ewc to the girls that didn’t get it last time. Probably do that on Monday.

Double grape, already frosty and only day 39 for her. I’m definitely getting more of this strain.

Skywalker getting worn out... I believe the top dressing helped though and stopped the fading a bit.

Forum stomper still taco, I guess it’s from over fertilization. Not really concerned. I plucked a few leaves from the middle which stirred up her smell. She smells amazing. Like French toast. Spicy and a little savory.

Day 51 (46 for dg)

Several fans yellowed and at various stages of crispness. Plucked the worst offenders. Still feeding mammoth p and recharge. Will be cutting them out soon, just plain water.

There is a symphony of smells when you open the tent, temps and humidity has been around 80 and 45-55 respectively. Hasn’t fluctuated much since I removed the humidifier. I’m not sure how s effective the top dressings have been, but the plants look relatively healthy, so I’m happy.

Strawberry. Berry sweet smell. Small glittery buds. I can see how trying this pheno down would be immensely helpful. I was lazy and also wanted to see how they’d do with minimal interference.

Forum stomper. She’s still curling like crazy but the buds are bulking a bit. She seems to be happy with the leaves sticking up but the condition of the leaves is obviously not good. She’s lost the buttery bread smell and has gone to vomit and gas. Crazy terps.....

Double grape. She doesn’t look too impressive, but you get close and see the frost.... I’ll post close ups below. Smells like sweet fuel. The grape is very subtle.

Cdlc. Just bulking up, rusty spotted leaves. Smells like industrial cleaner, stings the nose.

24c. Not much activity, mostly maturing and frosting up. Still strong hashy and earthy. Coffee in there too.

Skywalker. She’s catching up to the 24c in maturity. She smells exactly like her photoperiod cousin. Morphology looks very similar as well. Very eager. Smells like sweet OG.

Orange Diesel. Reminds of how ak47 grows. Smells like a sweet orange, but much brighter. Excited about those terps....

Samsquanch is attached, smells like bubblegum a little bit... not sure what’s up with that....

Thanks mid! When I open the tent it’s like a rainbow for your nose. Spice, sweet, earth, berry, fuel all at once. Need smell o vision...

In case anyone cares, here’s my other tent with photoperiods that were germinated the same day as my autos. They are almost 2 weeks into flower. They are around 3 feet tall except the chocolope, which is around 2 feet tall. I was surprised at that, seeing as it’s a heavy sativa dominant. She’s up on risers to even out the canopy.

Grown in 5 gallon smart pots under a 630w cmh @ 3100k. Media is canna coco bricks rehydrated with cal mag and base nutes. Mixed in 25% worm castings with perlite added. Canna’s full coco lineup substituting Aurora big swell in place of pk13/14. Used botanicare cal mag in veg and grow more flowering cal mag in flower. Mammoth p added after flip. Recharge once a week. Using RO water PH’ed to 6.0-6.3 unless it’s a recharge day, in which case I let the microbes ph for me.

I do not water to runoff. I believe drain to waste with 20% runoff each time is ludicrous. If you use good inputs, feed at 50-75% strength and amend with microbes, you don’t need to water to runoff. I feed cal mag at full strength due to using RO water. Nutrient manufacturers want you to run full strength to runoff. I won’t explain the logic, it seems pretty obvious.
