So, I have heard. And justice is far from equitable. Notice a few young UK'er (who seem to gravitate to Thailand and I can't blame them) get in big trouble. Mostly alcohol and its affect on decision making and inhibitions. Just read about the father/son duo at a club in a resort area. Thai band member fatally stabbed the father. Father tried to take the stage and sing. Alcohol will do that--I know in my early twenties, I hit the stage to do a horrendous Elvis rendition. Fortunately, I managed (attempted too do so) the property and all gave me a standing ovation. Of course, they were really really drunk. I never heard the end of it = young and dumb.

We will sneak some contraband out your way. Do the Thais travel like the Vietnamese. When they go back home they, generally, carry a suitcase and taped boxes with all the goodies for relatives/friends. Have you been to the Saigon airport yet. When you exit it is like a Hollywood premier. Officials do not let anyone in the airport. They all wait for passengers outside behind the ropes just outside the exit. As one walks through the crowd it is a cacophony of greeting and one feels like an arriving VIP. I think they are eager to get there boxed care packages.

We need to stop those Thai dog catchers from stealing pets and shipping them over to VN. You won't find many if any cats in VN either. Sometime back the rats began to take over because the cats were being shipped to China for dinner.

Thanks for looking in again, Morton. I think the photo above of the whole plant makes the buds look bigger than they are. If I get an ounce out of this, I'll be very happy. I live about 100 yards from the beach and the salt air does not encourage growth.

Railay is near Krabi, you get a boat from Krabi there. It's an ace place, if you go make sure you stay on the rock climbing side, it's more rugged but definitely worth it!

Your timing is perfect, bro. I was just about to go to my bookmarks to bring up this thread, but saw it was top of the pile anyway. :thumbs:

I can only hope the buds are getting denser and heavier, cause they sure don't look any bigger. The final flush was waaaayyyyy premature, so she's back on bloom nutes. Sun leaves are starting to crisp and ambering is increasing, but she still has a way to go. I have sampled a little, but it's like eating an unripe apple - it feeds the hunger, but you wish you'd waited till it ripened. I do have an undocumented Northern Lights grow (undocumented because she started out as a runt and is, ummm....unphotogenic is the kindest description) that is getting me through these hard times. I'll take unripe homegrown any day over the shite available from the bars here. I do have standards, y'know. :twist:

Day 105. Five more days of blistering sun was all she needed to finish, so Persephone was chopped this morning.

The wet weight after the trim is 127g, with about 10g extra of popcorn buds. Add the 12g of wet bud I 'borrowed' to taste and the wet total comes to ~150g, about an ounce dry.

Considering the very stealth nature of this grow (there is a 24-hour security post less than 10 yards away from the balcony) and the lack of anything other than proprietary garden centre flowering nutes, I'm happy with the outcome. AM is real easy to grow, but a two-gallon pot didn't really stretch her. A bigger pot next time, methinks.

I imagine she looked like a kind of mobile when you stripped away the leafy veils! *whew* You're right, it took an solar ass' kicking to tip her over the fence, but from the looks of the trichs, you'll have a nice dreamy relaxing, heavy stone... An Indica treat for those who've not had the likes before... Maybe check in with DP Tony (he's a good'un) here about your experience with this strain and the climate conditions... I'm surprised she did as well as she did given her parentage,... (generally, I think indicas don't much care for high heat/RH)... and also some recommendations for you next strain selection! :brow: Poke around the DP forum here, if you haven't yet, it's a treasure trove of good folks and info! Great job, brudda!! Way to grind it out under tough conditions all around! Max-slap to da head!!

I'm a sativa guy - when in Amsterdam I go for Jack Herer, Neville's Haze, Laughing Buddha and the like. With indicas, I struggle to put two words together while losing control of my central nervous system. So this could be interesting... :dance2:

I have a DP AutoBlueberry (from the same Color Mix #6 pack as the AM) and a ThinkDifferent, both of which are three weeks into flowering , both of which will dwarf the yield of the AM if all goes well. At the end of November, I'm going to Amsterdam for two weeks of smoking and shopping, so I'll stock up on seeds then. So many varieties, so little time...:drool:
