New Grower second grow, first time journal. big devil #2 and td's

cheers fella's. i picked the td's because of yeild that i've seen quality growers take from them but i never expected mine to do much since im still a complete noob.
i've just been taking it easy on them, giving them what they need being careful not to over do anything and now i can't stop smileing.:D
like i've said before though im not counting any chickens yet.

Yeah man I use three gallon pots. Those girls make them pots look tiny +REP for job well done.

some more shots of the girls. big devil's at 46 day's and td's at 36 days. will write propa update shortly cos my signal keeps going and keep needing to re-do it all again.

alright guys sorry it's taken 2 days to post propa update but have been busy. in the most recent pic's the big devils are 46 days and doing ok. bit of a worry though is the 2 better ones have stopped smelling for some reason. ive no idea why but have just given water last night incase it's cos of over feeding so see if that changes anything. if anyone has any info on the subject please fill me in as its frustrating and worrying me now.
the td's are still vegging well, the biggest was 49 inch's when i took the pic's other night and last night was over 50 inch's so has grown another inch n half in 24 hours. am slightly worried though as the biggest 1 is not as far on as the others with bud production and cos its so big am wondering if its gonna catch up alright. please please if anyone can offer some advice that could help put my mind at rest please let me no what you think. also cos i have 4 plants under each 600w light that means they've only got 150w per plant and am worried thats not inuff to get the bigger girls through to the end.
gonna take more pic's tonight and write a better update. just wanted to get these questions out there asap first cos am desperate for some feedback eh.

Just relax. Everything looks great, in fact, looks fantastic. That 600 watter should be sufficient. How big is your space?

thanks man, didnt think grow space would be a problem at the beggining as never thought they would blow up like that. not at home so cant go and messure the grow space but they're all quite close together so they can all fit under the light. the plants are touching but not so its restricting i dont think, thing is i have run out of room now so cant space them out anymore. when i move them to get in to water/feed and put them back they are all touching but not so its stopping them spreading out. i read through billy wu's thread and seen he only had a 2 feet by 2 feet space to grow in and mine have deffenately got more space than that. i'd say at least 3 by 3feet each m8.

I hear you, I've run into that myself a couple times. Plants got bigger than I expected. LOL, a good problem to have! Reason I asked on the space size is that a 600 watt HPS is rated to cover about 12 sq. ft. maximum.

lol, yeah really good problem to have as long as i can cope with it that is.
think thats about the sort of size space they'll be taking up roughly m8. im using a sun king umbrella shade that is a meter accross, they seem to cover alot more ground than the first lamp i had, witch was just 1 of those with the butterfly type reflector. im now thinking if ive got 4 plants under each lamp and each plant is roughly 3 feet accross then thats about 12 square foot or there abouts eh. light is only about 18" from tops as well. hope this info helps you help me a wee bit chap.

so do you think ive got anything to worry about re- the big devil's stopped smelling then pal? sorry for all the q's as well man.:peace:

right am really starting to get worried now cos the big td's just keep getting taller n taller every day. over 51" now. i had to move the light higher last night cos the cola was touching the umbrella reflector, i moved it so the bulb was 18" away from the top cola and they seem to have shot up even more over night. they've been on flower feed for a week now as well n i thought that would throw them into full flowering and stop them from getting taller so i dont no what's going on..:crying:

You may want to consider doing some LSTing (Low Stress Training) on them to keep the height down. Basically it's just gently pulling the plants over so they grow more horizontal than vertical. You can poke a hole through the top edge of the pot, run a string through it, then around the branch you want to tie off. Pull it down till you feel a slight resistance but not so much that you bend and crease the stem. Then go back the next day and pull it a little tighter. Here's examples of a couple I've done that way.
