New Grower Second grow: Royal Queen seeds, easy bud

The last few figures for days out of the ground are wrong because I forgot to count from 7/4 and instead was thinking of the date planted 6/30, sorry. Plants are 45 days out of the ground and have stopped all vertical growth. The 4 indoor plants have good buds that feel thick and sticky. The smell is getting stronger but the leaf resin seems less than last grow. I didn't use any bloom suppliments this time just bloom nutes. The lowest fan leaves have been turning yellow this week, I thought maybe the air circulation was the reason because I wasn't looking for this until the end of the 8th week. I just noticed the color of the upper fan leaves yellowing, checked runoff ph read 6.2. Added 5ml quick lime to 3gal soil pot, this should raise ph slightly less than a full point. I was going to feed one more time with bloom nutes but now I don't know. Should I just water until harvest ?

I harvested the smallest indoor plant because it had more than 70% red hairs and I will be completly out of pot by the weekend. The other three plants are just begining to turn, I will let these go until the shade leaves start to yellow. I am at the 50 day mark for the indoor plants, the buds look and smell great but the sweet leaf still has less resin than the anglematic had at this stage. Maybe because these are indica dominate and anglematic is sativa dominate or maybe because I did not use any supliments just grow and bloom fert.

As long as the fan leaves still have green in them the plant will continue to eat off them and fatten up the buds. I wouldn't harvest till all the fan leaves are gone and the bud leaves are turning yellow. Thanks Muddy, none of the bud leaves have started to turn and the resin production is getting better. I will just water and not use any more nutes, last feeding 1 week ago. The small plant that I harvested the other day has of course not properly dried but I was out and well you know. I could taste some skunk and a good body effect. I will do a real smoke report after drying and a few weeks curing.

I harvested the other 3 plants tonight. By starting the veg and bloom nutes from the begining like Muddy said the grow was quicker but the plants did not reach their full potential. 55 days out of the ground and all the fan leaves and most of the shade leaves were done but the branch buds did not have time for the 2/3 weeks of "Muddy grow time ". I found out what was wrong with my camera and will post pics thursday.

I harvested the small (18in) plant a while ago and got 21gr of dry bud. These buds are in the dark tent @77-80deg F and 50-52% with extraction and circulating fans on. Tonight I have put a dehumidifier in the room set to 40%. I left too much leaf and it seem to be drying slow. I want to move the outdoor plant inside soon, before it really smells. It has only been getting about 6hrs of direct sunlight, can I move the plant inside and what light times ( 18/6,12/12)?

Sure, you can move it indoors. I would check it well for insects first. Don't need to be bringing anything into your indoor environment. 18/6 or 20/4 on the lights.

View attachment 1212938 jars on left 14gr each of trimed bud, 2 on right 14gr trim with visible resin and immiture bud, center 7gr untrimed bud, total inculding first plant (21gr) 168gr. Last time I dried at 50-55% for 6-7 days and did not cure. This time I was 40% for 3 days, I will try drying less and curing more. Normally I smoke pipe or joint, I want to try a vaporizer and this time I will try and make hash so I need different dryness for that, right? I will give a true dry weight after I cure for 2-3 weeks. With the outdoor plant yet to harvest I still hope to meet my goal of 120-140gr of dry bud for this grow.

True dry weight for the 4 indoor plants is 113gr dry bud and 11gr immiture bud and sweet leaf with visible resin. I will post a pic of the one I moved inside 2 days ago later tonight. I will also do smoke report saturday.
