Should i be giving it just cal mag plus until i see the third set of leaves then start the normal feeding? This cal mag plus bottle has a npk ratting of 2-0-0 that two kinda makes me nervous for a young seedling.

Do you have a ppm or Ec meter? You should be feeding between .78 to .80 Ec For me that's grow A&B, voodoo and cal/mag.
Did you pre-charge your Coco with nutes if so you might be good for the first week of just plain Ph water if needed. Other wise feed that baby just keep it light.
I hAve a ppm meter. You wouldent happen to know what the conversion is ec to ppm. Well i gave it a light feeding of 170 ppms of nutes and cal mag plus and i noticed the tips of the first set of leaves had slight burning. So i want to say thats to much nitrogen. How much water for the seedling to young plant area of growth should it be given usually

>80ec is about 400ppm
How much water? I feed them a small ring of water around the seedling when the top dries out for the first week. The second week I give a bit more trying to make the roots stretch out. By the 14th day I water to runoff.
170 ppm is very light.how I mix my nutes is cal/mag then the base nutes then any amendments . I check the Ec and then add more water till its at the Ec i want
I figured it was a light feeding but seeing any kind of nitrogen in my cal mag plus creeps me out but if u say thats a light feeding then ok. How much water as in cups do you drip around your seedling?

You have 2-0-0 in your cal mag I have 4-0-0 I go off of my nute line ups recommendations but for autos. I use Advanced nutrients. Basically everything is cut in half and that comes out to 1.3 Ec. So when I'm feeding light I mix it up the same way but add more water to bring it down to .80ec
On to your question. I don't measure the water during the first 2 weeks. I use 1 gallon pots I just eye ball it and just pour a steady ring around You dont want it pouring out the bottom yet.
If im mixing my nutes in a five gal buckett and i put five gals of water in it how do u cut that in half with more water it would overflow out of the bucket at six gals. Or do u mean you add less nutes?

No you half the nutes recommended dose. And as far as your 5 gal bucket deal it dosnt matter just check your ppm and adjust by making it stronger or weaker by adding water or more nutes.
Just make a gallons worth in the 5 gallon bucket. Test and see where you are. You will see how easy it is. The first time I did it I started making 1 gallon and ended up making 5 before I got it right. Now I can do it blind folded
