Grow Mediums seedling question

Im a first time grower and my seedling is five days old and i thought it would be getting bigger by now. In your guys experience when does the explosive growth happen? Also im getting mixed reviews on if i should be giving light feedings 150 ppm or less and cal mag plus is included in that ppm. Im using ro water that i filter again thru a zero water filtration system so i figured atleast give it cal mag plus.

I'm only on my second grow, but so far it seems like the first two weeks are a miserable period of waiting for the stupid plants to start growing and assuming something is wrong. Third week things finally start jumping.

Plants arent stupid! Your just impatient. But yeah, 3rd week seems about right.

Should i be giving it just cal mag plus until i see the third set of leaves then start a light feeding with the cal mag plus?

You can give her a light feed. You don't really need to, but if you really have to, make it light. I have grown for a few years now and I still can't deal with that first three weeks. But then BOOM! Your off and running. Until you get to the last two weeks.. and they drag on. But those middle weeks of rapid growth are awe inspiring - addictive really.

How many ppms is a small feeding to you? In the npk scale only nitrogen can burn right? I was thinking of just going with a high p-k. How much water do you give seedlings and then younger plants?
