Lookin for advice because this seems to be the only website dedicated to AF. . . Never had luck with my seeds (been through 10 :() but finally have 3 Auto-Blueberry sprouted. Only thing is the true leaves came through while they were still breaking soil ( I know AF is meant to be fast but not THAT quick). . . They're not standing up straight and are slowly sitting crooked, just don't look healthy. They're all green and only 5 days old, also I didn't germinate I just soaked for 24hrs and popped into medium. I have 250hps with blue spectrum about 2 feet from the pots. It's first time doing this so expecting problems but still hoping it'll go well.

Was a member with AF a few weeks ago but recently moved address and couldn't log on or start my grow.
Any advice is greatly appreciated ;)

I'll try post some pictures of my grow as soon as I find out how ha

move your lights back at least another 2 feet bro... right now!

I've never grown the auto-blueberry,but...autos generally need to be treated special....it all comes together when the seed has media to grow in that has no added fertilizer....when humidity and temps are correct..and the roots are forced to grow and seek moisture at the bottom of the pot.
other factors will prevent a successful grow, but the main 3 shouldn.t be compromised on.
start seeds in seed starter soil, most other soil is too hot for the tiny seedlings.
keep seedlings covered under plastic wrap or in a humidity dome until the 2nd true leafset appears.
pre-moisten the soil before you drop the seed in...after the sprout appears, and until the cover comes off...all they need is a light spritz of ph adjusted water daily.
by the time the plant needs watering, the roots should be strong enough to support top growth.

1 other thing..get a ph tester...test everything that effects your plants enviorment...the soil, the water and the runoff of water from the soil .

autoflowers are hardy ,they just require a little extra TLC before and after birth....then they grow like a weed.

ok, that being said. WELCOME BACK! Would love to see this as a grow journal in the New Growers Section. You will get tons of help there. We need some more info, like what size pots, the soil your using... etc. So please get a journel set up and tell us all the goodies your using and it will help us evaluate the situation better.

also, ...

everything HEREb4 Said!

Thanks for the reply dudes :D

Unfortunately with the set-up I have I can only keep the light 3 feet away at the most. All 3 have 1st true leaves but all leaves are curling under :(. . Temperature is between 20-25c, the pots I have are 6 gallon. They're all i could get so its their permanent home. I read that AF's don't like to be transplanted so this eliminates that hassle. Water is tap water left out for 24hrs and ph'd to 6.0. .
It's still early days so I'm hoping they'll pull through. They seem very strong and look very short, maybe just under an inch. . But leaves are really curled under now, no sign of burning though:confused:

I watered the soil in the pots before seeds were dropped in and hasn't been watered since as it's still fairly moist. Don't get me wrong my babies ARE growing but just not very good at all. I had a feeling it was the light so it's up as high as possible now. I was told as soon as they sprout I could turn on the power??? Obviously told wrong. . . :(
Been keeping the light 20/4 since first sprouted.
As I said they look healthy and green, just curling under and are facing sideways nearly
The reason I went this route with the seeds is because all other ways to germinate and that failed for me.

Thanks for the advice guys!!

Can't seem to get pictures up but I'll keep trying

Also haven't been using nutes, I have Bio-Nova Autoflower Supermix and was wondering is that enough and has anybody used this before??
Thanks, much love :smoke:

how about a fan ??? do you have one on them.

Good thinking GA

I am confused. What happens when the plants add a foot of height? You can't move the light up?

Yeah I have a small oscillating fan to circle around, only been turning it on for an hour or 2. And I have an extraction fan all set up running when the lights set. . .

The area I have is only 5 feet tall, so with the reflector and pots I could probably have the light 3 and a half feet from the pots at the most. Didn't think AF's would grow anymore than that. Would an AF grow taller than 3 foot?

I'm a total beginner so I'm learning as I'm going along, even if I sound stupid ha :smoke:
