I have found it very rare when the whole plants is ready at once. I like to take the big tops but I will usually leave the plant in there for a 2-7 days to let the bottom stuff finish properly.
There have been times I have been forced to chop all at once but not how I prefer to do it.
Peace
I leave mine exposed. I only ever select harvest my outdoor. I have not saw a need indoor with any of the strains I have grew (auto).
Indoors I can train and trim so the under side finishes pretty close to the rest. Auto's don't get that big imo. My biggest had been 219gr.Interesting!
But don't your indoor plants mature top to bottom at different rates too?
Sorry for the stupid question, just wondering why you don't think there was a need to selective harvest your indoors too. Will help me make up my mind, I've never done selective harvest before, lol.

I have not grown any auto monster strains yet either thou so that could change.
Was wondering how many of you employ selective harvesting. The logic behind it makes perfect sense to me but noticed most people harvest the whole plant instead... including myself.
What say you?
