Terple,
High y'all!
So I have a veg room and flower room, 8 plants in flower/8 plants in veg.
Gonna grow big plants and use a Mars Hydro FC 3000 (3x3 flower footprint) for each plant with a trellis.
My question is what size pots should I use for my veg and flower? Also, what kinda veg time am I looking at?
I'm growing in super soil and plan to supercrop/LST them all.
Thanks

I think we're going to need a bit more information. I mean, veg time? Strain dependent and, you growing autos or photos?

Just do 8 in one big pot. @Cookiemonster69 style.

Hey Hempo, if I was doing 2 grow rooms with autos, I wouldnt worry about veg and flowering separation. The only benefit I would see in that, is having your plants organised. Both rooms would run the same light cycle so no problems with mixing em. If you COULD, run em all in 1 room, so both light's excess angle light rays can work together to increase pars in some sections.

^ that has to be the most nonsense paragraph ever as I'm sure you already know that lol

In terms of pot sizes, I use 3-4 gallons pot per auto, mostly 4 gallon. Because the autos I've grown only JUST get root bound when it's time for Chop, so there are no wastage, and less water needed to get that run off. It will dry out quicker yes, but I like my dry/wet cycles quicker. The roots can feed and breath quicker and faster. Creates some hardy plants.

And again, if your growing autos. I found that my plants start transitioning around week 4. By week 5 you can see a lot of pistils.

Atm I'm doing 7-1 pot auto grow, it allows for all the plants to pretty much stay at the highest par spot in my tent. I'm not using trellis netting. Everything happens so quick, and because I use a water pump feeding system it's VERY low maintenance. I only visit my plants to take some leaves off once a week.

Show us your setups! Would love to see em =]

My bad I'll be growing photoperiod and only 1 strain, Terple by In-House Genetics. My original plan is to veg in 3 gal pots until it's covering about 75% of a 3x3 footprint. Then bring to the flower room and transplant into a 10 gal pot. I'll be growing in Stepwell Super Soil.

I'm strictly gonna grow Terple by In-House Genetics which is a photoperiod. I was blessed enough to get access to an amazing phenotype. Here I'll show a picture of my most recent harvest of it... The frostiest strain I've ever grown.

You managed to get In-house!
Me and my girl where SPAMMING the order button but the site kept on crashing the previous drop lol managed to get 0 beans. It's that BBC I was after grrr

Since it's a photo period I would go for 8-10 gallon pot and trellis.

And that bud ...yumyum

Yeah I got a cut from my buddy who did a decent phenohunt and found this gem. So grateful I was able to get it!
If you're in Canada there's a website I could DM you that sells In-House, I think they ship worldwide?

Very nice plan. Sorry if I came off a bit grumpy. I re-read my post this morning, didn't sound how I intended.

Have you already got your style of pots picked out? I found airpots were the easiest things to transplant from. Especially for larger sizes. Ive been using them with fruit trees to great success. The only real difference between some of the sizes is the height.

I've been really happy with the rainscience growbags too.

No need to apologize. I didn't take it that way. And yeah, originally I was gonna do a SOG but I came to the conclusion a SCROG is better because it's less plants to take care of. Gonna go to college soon... won't have time for a lot of plants. The choice was either 130 plants or 16.... lol
