Consider that most brands of hydro nutritients need arround 7-10days flushing before harvest.

Lets talk about How each of you does it.

I am familiar with,few differnet ways that focus on helping the plant dry out and the buds go bigger like:
1)Make the last mix and let it go to zero PPM/EC by adding pure water for toping. Thats must be a tricky way for sure...
2)Leave the plant in the dark for 2-3 days before harvest to produse more resin and improve the taste and the smoke but also and the size of the buds...

3)In soil (not that we care ) to leave the pot dry out and cut it the next day. Also helps to dry the buds faster later. Combine with that method I know people that hung the whole plant upside down after trim it(without cutting the buds)for 1-2 days and then 2 more days drying the buds only.
But in hydro we can hung the plant +ROOTS to let it eat even the root juices.

4)WATER it, CUT it, TRIM it, DRY it, SMOKE it...The simple and effective

Current Culture, the manufacturer of the RDWC system I'm using recommends a 3 day cleanse at the end of the grow with pH balanced water and a product like FloraKleen. They also recommend dropping the water level in the system, lowering the res temp to 60, the room temp to 70 and the RH to 25%. The idea being that those changes simulate winter coming and force the plants into a final growth spurt. I tried this on my most recent harvest and there did seem to be an increase in resin. The buds were very sticky, more so than just a few days before the final cleanse.

Other than dropping the water level in the system all the other options cost over 500$ to achieve !!!
But if you close the lights for 3 days the temps and the water temps will be down with some ice bottles you can lower the water temps even more and you can achieve the same results I think. Correct me If I am wrong.
Also I ll use the bud factor x that tang said for the last 2 weeks before harvest.

DIY Water Chiller:

Now people may say its expensive to run one, well, no, its not. It takes about lets say 30 minutes to cool the res down to 65F the first time. Then, with it on a timer, it may need to come on say 4 times a day for 15 minutes. @ $.18/kwh and a 200 watt consumption, thats .2kwh x $.18= $.04 a day!

Iir is bigger than my bucket
i jhave seen the video I was thinking to build one if I find a better place to grow no room for it
i went all the grow with 23-27c solution but it can't be helped for now
