Hi folks. Yesterday, I topped up my pot with some extra soil because it was looking quite low. Since then, my plant has developed these strange spots..

I'm VERY close to derooting my plant to get rid of this fucking God awful soil. It's Biobizz Light and the pH is terrible on it.. I've been working hard to try and fix it but it was a sickening pH 5.6 out of the bag.

Can someone please advise me what to do? If this doesn't stop now, I'm starting over fresh.

Looks like a phosphurous def. What is the ph of your runoff. It should be 6.3 or 6.5.If you can't get it under control you could try transplanting it to some different soil mix like promix or fflw,or add some cal-mag and see if you can bring the ph up.:smoke:

Yeah the pH has been all over the place, the soil is disgusting (Biobizz Light). I've decided to rip it up and start again with some better soil. It's just too much work to get the soil pH right at this stage in the grow, it's already been stunted and won't grow as big as it's ever going to.

Billy what Nutes are you using with the lightmix? Also what was the PH going in? Did you ajust the PH with chems? If you ajust Bio bizz with chems it fucks the little micro life it has and throws you PH of scale.. Bio Bizz soils control the PH them selfs if you put it at a PH between 5.7 and around 7.0 It will ajust its self.. The whole idea of the light mix is that the grower is in total control of how the soil acts its tricky but when you get the hang of it its a spot on soil mate A few peope have had probs with it but usualy when you try mess with your PH going in with Chems :smokebuds: Si

I used Biobizz Root juice and Biobizz grow and that was it. I didn't adjust the pH at all with any solutions, I started off with pH 6.8 water and flushed it to up the pH from the horrible 5.6 to 6.0 before I even planted my seeds. I did everything I was supposed to and it's still shitty...

To be honest I can't be bothered with the fuss of Biobizz light anymore, so I'm ditching it and going with something better. It's been nothing but problems since I started.

Very strange If you havent touched it Its great if you know what your dealing with no good just to try.. Its something that you neeed to spend time to figure it out helpped me pull over 2 OZ from 1 plant so i have no worries with the product. Any thoughts as to what you going to try next mate

Yeah going for Plagron Light. J-Tang said it's pH 6.5 - 6.6 right out of the bag which I'm happy with :) If for some bizarre reason I get it and it's NOT pH 6.6, then I'll just mix in a load of lime and make sure the pH is right before planting.

Sounds good mate i think with most Bag mixes its just getting one and sticking to it till you know it in side out.. I dont PH my feed at all I just know with my water and the amount of nutes i use that the PH should stay stable lmao good luck with the new soil and hope you have better luck with it mate
