I'm a fan of ISO and salt for regular, frequent cleaning. If you flush with hot water after, it will melt any salt stuck in hard to reach places. Boiling or looooooong ISO soak works better for heavy, caked on resin for an only occasionally cleaned piece though.
As a side note, if your pipes got an 18mm downstem joint, I find that the pressure sprayer in your average (or at least the couple I've tried) kitchen sink can be held up against the joint nicely to really flush things out. The pressure sprayer also fits snugly into the mouthpiece of my little blue oil rig. Very nice for a quick daily flushing and changing of the water.
