im using RO water, i think the ph is around 6.5 (i dont have a ph pen) and im using that m3 super soil mixture... i cant pinpoint what i need to add to my grow to make her healthy again =(

Hey Vedder, bro, honestly this doesn't look so much like ph problems. It really looks like your soil is waaaay too hot for the girl. I have never heard of M3 soil so I don't know what is in it. It looks like you have some serious nute burn on the lower portions of the plant and those leaves are seriously super green and look to be clawing. Without a Ph meter it is hard to rule out ph but my personal opinion is it looks like too much nutrients too early. You can try to flush with some water but I would suggest you ph it first. Since you don't have a ph meter I suppose the best thing you could do would be to let some tap water set out over night to give the chlorine a chance to evaporate off and use it to flush with. Your tap water should be around 7 and should be fine for you to flush with. But I have to tell you, this is a lot of assumptions bro! I can't promise anything.

Hey thanks for getting back to me.
I'll give flushing it out a try and see if that will clear things up a bit. I cant really pin point the problem also, the soil im using i got from my grow shop. they were selling it as basically use RO water thru the whole grow, no nutes, just water from start - finish. So it might be too hot for auto's, but maybe its just right for photo's. Im not too sure but i'll try flushing.
I never had anything claw on me this bad before :(

Hey man, you are welcome about the reply. Sorry it was late. I actually saw this post yesterday but didn't want to respond because of the lack of info and was hoping someone else would chime in. Looks like everyone else felt the same way I did so I didn't want to leave you hanging two days in a row. If they are selling it as a one stop grow soil with no nutes to add it is definitely going to be too hot. Especially considering most grow shops don't even consider people are running autos. That was probably the worst soil you could buy but hey, you have it now. Try to flush it with a good amount of water, at least 3x the container size and see how she responds. You may have to flush it more than that but I would start off with that and see what happens. What kind of lights do you have her under?

Hehe. I hear that, I totally forgot to post the whole schabang when i posted my initial question. ive been running this one completely naked (no nutes, no meters, just totally caveman style) so i forgot i needed to add a little more. hah
I was thinking that when i got home with the soil. he mentioned he's had regulars that have had some success with it but i totally didnt think of auto's and photo's at the time. i guess my eyes were big because they were carrying some super soil hahah.
I just ran a gal of 6.5ph flush in the soil. I have the PH test drops, so at the end of the gallon i tested the runoff and it looks like the runoff is around 7... maaaaaybe 7.5?

Right now i have her under a blackstar 240, and a couple 100watt cfl's on the side for side light.
In a few weeks or end of the month im going to be purchasing a Fero bulldog 6 spot (or 8 spot if i have the extra cash) and do a test grow for the LED section and post the results. ive only tried blackstar LED's so im kinda interested to see how other makers stack up

Yep, those strips won't tell you much but that doesn't sound bad if it is correct. I didn't think it was ph.

That blackstar is a good light, the Fero is a much better light and a supporter of AFN! Another good choice would be the GN. You can't go wrong with either. I have a Blackstar Chrome 270 and have been very pleased with it. I only use it for clones and small grows but it works well.

Best of luck bro! Shoot me a pm in a week or so and let me know how she is doing. I have a hard time keeping up with all the threads I comment on.

Hola everyone! Though I would pass along a quick update on my sick girls..
Its been almost 2 weeks, and although they have improved I dont think im out of the woods.

Problem
: Leaves were badly sagging/clawing. At first I thought it was a PH issue, checked the PH and it was fine/normal. Was using a new super soil so maybe the mixture was too hot.
Solution: Full on soil flush... 7 plants total, about 2-3 gal of tap water (left out 24hours) per pot.
Did it work: Yes and no. Mostly yes though. Still have slight clawing so maybe it needs something but I cant figure out if it needs nutes, or some N, or just PH water from here on out.
