Lighting side light only

The way my new grow space is, i cant really have overhead lights. Is only side lighting not good enough? i planned on using cobs but on the side

no i do not scrog. The reason for side light is because i will be growing under a catwalk type thing and it wont be easy having overhead lights, i figured maybe i could use side light.

Ever heard of vertical grows? You scrog the plants into a vertical net with a light hanging vertically and let the plant grow up it. I see no reason why it wouldn't work it's just different but people don't do it as often. You probably won't find anything on this forum about it especially since it's an older method but it does work

Strips are ideal for side lightning. You only need around 30% of top light then.

Thank you guys!! I explained it incorrectly. i am using a raised bed that fills my whole space completely. I have to walk down the middle on pavers i put in and figure it qould be very hard ro hang lights and still work through the area. heres a pic of what i mean.
