Site Changes 12-26-18

Good morning everyone! In response to feedback on trying to tidy up our navigation a bit on the site, we took a look at our two largest sections and realized there was a bit of overlap in some of the topics for discussion. In efforts to reduce redundancy (is that an oxymoron?) we’ve taken a look at the sections and decided that we could merge several discussion forums (Grow Light Companies and Grow Lights, for example) while not really sacrificing anything (if anything, it saves you a few mouse clicks and should be a bit less confusing on where to post on certain topics.)

Forums Moving
1. CannaZone Grow Battles (circled in green) is moving to Live Announcements, Intros, and Chat.
2. CannaZone Grow Battles is being renamed to Live Grow Battles.
3. Autoflower Photography (circled in green) is moving to Live Announcements, Intros, and Chat.
4. Autoflower Photography is being renamed to Live Photography.
5. Autoflower Guides & Tutorials: How to Grow (circled in green) is moving to its very own section on the main forum index (and will likely get a retitle/rename in the near future.)

Forum Renamed
Live Announcements is now renamed to Live Announcements & Constructive Feedback, and we'll work on encouraging more feedback related discussion for improving the site and reporting issues.

Forums Merging
1. The CannaZone: Grow Battles & Performance Testing section and the Autoflower Cultivation Discussion sections will merge into one section with a name change/retitle.
2. The new section will be renamed to: Cultivation, Product, & Services Discussion

The new merged section will be as follows:

This eliminates 7 duplicate/overlapping forums total and puts cultivation/product/service discussion in on central place.

So for example now if you want to ask a question or talk about grow lights in general, you would click on the merged Grow Lights forum. If you want to talk about a specific vendor’s grow light, their subforums are listed at the top of that Grow Lights forum (otherwise you’d just scroll down and there’s the general discussion threads.)

More navigation updates coming (including reworking our navigation tabs to be more useful!)
