Grow Mediums Slim's 1st Autopot grow-Think Different

Question, seems like every evening, about a few hour before dark cycle, my girls are really droopy and over watered looking...what the f? Is rhat normal? They really are drooping, but in the morning they will look ok...side note: they stunted the first few weeks
Mine do the same always have they seem to know when's it's lights out time [emoji106]

I toke therfore I am so naaa

sorry I lost this thread... I never changed my res, just topped it up when it was low. I'd let it get down to just above the filter in the res. I made an extra harness of tubing and change it every 2-3 weeks, so it never plugs up. I flush the tubing with a 30ml syringe, works great and only takes a minute. Then your ready for the next time you swap! I've also gone an entire grow without flushing or changing out the hoses. It worked but I wouldn't do it again. crud does build up in them.

Thanks for all the info Pop!! I did go with the airdome and so far so good. Pop, roughly how often did you change your res & for how many auto pots? Also, how much did you fill up your water tank? I filled mine 12 gallons and fed her at about 1/2 of the strength according to the guide on Canna's website....

DAY 59:

Sorry, it's been a while since my last update. Holidays, kids etc etc...
How is everyone? Hope you all are having a great 2017!!

So its day 59 and the Think D's are looking healthy...I thought they would have been bigger plants, so I scrapped the SCROG. Just going to let them go. The one is 22 inches tall & the other about 20 inches. Starting to make some buds and starting to get some sugar on some leaves. :cooldance:
I am still concerned about how droopy they look most of the day. Not sure if this is the reason they are so small? Every time I would check the Valves, they would be full, like they are not draining and the plants are just sitting in the flooded trays.
I decided to take out both Aqua Valves and clean them up and re-seat the yellow bungs. And I shut the main valve off so the plants would dry out overnight. Turned the main valve back on about 10 min ago and took some pics.

Hey Slim, good to see these are looking better now... Looks like another 4 weeks or so to go but should produce some nice buds for you.

Yeah you may have an issue with the valves if they are full every time you check them, should be able to see various levels throughout the day... Be sure to check that the top yellow silicone part is making a proper seal (that's the one that allows the trays to empty before re-filling). Another thing to check is with the tray empty and the valve seated in position make sure that the floats aren't touching the bottom of the tray, if the valve is on a bit of an angle and the floats hit the bottom the top yellow part won't make a full seal.

Thanks Hans for the reply!

The floats are always floating..and it looks like the yellow bung is sealing too? I did take everything out and clean...
I wonder how often the trays fill and empty per day?
Hans, quick question for you and anyone else that uses these autopots...at what part of the grow did you noticed that autopots are different from other feeding methods? early veg? late veg? early flower? before or after the stretch etc etc?

Honestly I notice the increased growth with these Autopots basically as soon as I turn them on after 3 weeks... During the main stretching phase like week 4-6 is probably the most noticeable though, I've had plants grow 6" in one day... :yoinks:

I noticed it as soon as the tap root hit bottom at about day 21. Then you turn on the reservoir and watch them go crazy. It's the slowest first three weeks you will ever experience when growing.
