I've noticed a phrase being adopted by politicians in several states that have bills going forward on the medical cannabis front the phrase is this : "Compassionate Use of Medical Cannabis Pilot Program Act creates a framework to protect physicians and certain qualified medical marijuana patients from arrest and prosecution"

"Certain qualified medical marijuana patients" Hmmm sounds very much like CYA wording. That doesn't say they legalized it to me. Sounds more like "we'll protect you from the Feds....maybe" My take is they are trying to allow it without actually saying its legal for medical use. Possibly to avoid confrontation with the Feds, but that means you could still end up holding the dirty end of the stick....
Sorry, I'm a cynic and a former state employee. Want to know what was on the blackboard my first day of training?? CYA in 3 foot high letters. Probably the only useful advice they gave in the 11 years I worked there.....
