New Grower Small autogrow setup

Hey all, first time post and first time grow, just looking for some tips!

Have been reading quite a few threads and picked up some advice already

Currently in the final stages of convincing the wife that there isn't any 'risk' once that's out of the way I have my orders ready to go!

Looking to only grow 2 plants at a time, starting with one white haze and one AK, I haven't decided where to get them from yet so if anyone in the UK has some recommendations I am happy to hear them!

Any Who, I am looking to get the below tent and ferts, anything else I am forgetting?

Hey Dazf and welcome to AFN. You will also need a ph tester for your water and PH up & PH down solution. Also not sure if I saw a tempature / humidity gauge in your set up but you will need that to monitor the conditions in your tent. Also a timer to have your lights and fan go on and off automatically unless your running it 24 hours a day. I personally run 18/ 6 light schedule. The timer is not a must but if your like me I'm not always there to turn on and off my gear. Any way hope this helps!

Welcome to AFN ! That looks like a very nice kit to start with. Along with nutes, you should get some CalMag and liquid seaweed for seedlings and early veg stage. These two help promoting roots grow and antibiotics to disease. If you have any questions, feel free to ask

If your still undecided on seeds or where to get them from try herbiesheadshop I got my seeds from them in less than 24hrs and both have germ'd .

Hey all, thanks for the replies, can't wait to get started! Have been smoking every day the last 10years and the bud recently has been getting worse and worse so I thought i'd make the switch!

I have a ph test kit for my fish tank that I already test my rodi water with, would this work?
What should the ph be? In my filtered water it is just under 8, not sure about straight from the tap...

Also already have a timer so thats good.

Thanks for the recommendation for calmag and seaweed, any in particular? Are the nutes i have ready to order ok?

Will check out herbies now, have seen a lot of people on here mention them but thought it was a us store

That's the same reason I started growing mate along with the cost of it ! , yeh Herbie's is a UK company and try also autofloweringseeds that's also Herbie's and I think if u order from them they send u autoflowering seeds as freebies with your order whereas the normal Herbie's site u just get regular seeds

I use the Maxicrop Liquid Seaweed. It's very good so far.

I'd get a quality pH meter because Calibration is easier and last longer. I have the purple HealthyWiser brand meter for $25 US Dollar on amazon. Get a circulating fan too bro.
