Hi there. So I’ve grown outdoors for 20 years and last year was my first with autos. I’m getting bored waiting to get started this year so have found a small space indoors I can use. Here’s the thing it’s 2m high 1m45 wide and only 65cm deep. I’m thinking 2 autos will fit nicely but not sure about the light wattage. A friend is running a Mars Hydro 800w led in his tent with great results, so I’m leaning towards them. Question is will a 300w led be sufficient for 2 plants in this space? Or will the 600w led be overkill?
All input appreciated

i work that out to be about 8 sq ft floor space,,i would go with the 600 or even better the sp250

Could get 3 in easy. 50x50 footprint is an average plant.watts from the wall is the only number most interested in.50x100 space a 180 does me plenty.
Keep er lit

Thanks fellas. indoors is all new to me. The more research I’ve done on the subject the more questions I’ve ended up with too many conflicting opinions out there on led lighting. So I thought better ask here.

I’m no expert, but I think blurple is not the best option these days, I recommend going with white cobs or quantum board designs. Mars Hydro makes some nice quantum board designs these days. If you go with one of those at ~30 watts/sq ft (actual from the wall, not hps equivalent) you should be golden. I second the vote for the sp250, it was at the top of my list before I went diy.

If so. Mars TSL2000 led might be the right one.:hookah:

I know that this one is sold out in some area. If you like some white specturm, TSL2000 would be a great alternative option for a consideration.:smoking:

All the above is good advice. Some of us long time growers have upgraded to a newer or different light several times and like myself, have found they all will grow da herb...some are a little better, some are more expensive...us budget growers just want value for the dollar....
Since I only put plants under bloom lights at about 3 weeks old, I can only speak to that time period.
I place younger plants under the cobs side of the tent and rotate them to the qb side as they mature. I also run a 600w led as side lighting.
I run a mars hydro ts1000 as my qb side and seems it is the most full spectrum light I have....wish I'd bought a 2000...oh shit, is that a fever coming on?
While lighting is important, environment sure has to be considered.
The main thing is getting to burn the evidence.
