Grow Mediums Small tent - One autopot or two? SCROG or LST?

I clearly need to read up on Biotabs more...

Question on the Autopot reservoir - I grow in my loft, which can get extremely cold during winter. Should the water in the Autopot reservoir be kept above a certain temperature? Would I benefit from a cheap aquarium heater?

I grow in a self built diy room in my loft and don't hear mine but lowest I get during winter is 60'f as that keeps the frost on my roof :)
Never had an issue with the res temp

What kind of light are you running, 600 watts in a 70x70 is going to be a lot of heat.

Regarding your reservoir, as long as it doesn't freeze the temp does not really matter. The small amount of water in your tray will be about the same temp as your tent within minutes of entering to tubes. Just remember, the little tube will freeze quickly even if the reservoir stays liquid if temps drop below 0 C.

4oz out of 4 ft/sq is actually pretty good yield.

Res temps are most definitely important. Ideal is 63-72 degrees. Not sure how cold your talking about, but you want to keep it in that range as a general rule. Autopot recommends 70-80 degrees. But it's definitely something to pay attention to.

Things got pretty cold in my loft earlier this year, 60 inside my tent with lights and a heater, so probably 50-55 outside my tent.

This will be 2 x 300w LEDs with a 6" outlet and 4" inlet, so well ventilated. I ran a 300w LED plus 4 CFL side lights over the summer with no heat issues.

Thanks for the numbers, exactly what I'm looking for. I'll keep an eye on temps from here.

Thanks for the advice guys :bighug:
