Hey Guys,
Let me describe my setup for you guys and see if you have some suggestions on what I am trying to do.

im growing in a tent thats located in a closet. the room that the closet is off doesnt have a door and generally when I go in/out of my grow closet, as well as when i turn the extractor fan in the tent off periodically (to increase RH), the room and ultimately my house starts to smell real interesting (if you know what I mean).

In addition to the extractor from the tent (it vents directly outside and has a filter attached), i thought I might hook up a 2nd extractor that pulls air straight out of the closest instead of the tent. The air in the closet mainly comes from the leaks/cracks around the closet door. I figure that with a 2nd fan pulling air out of the closet I could reduce the stank. The stank is caused also by my drying and curing bud that's sitting in the closet.

what are you guys' thoughts?
thanks
karl

very similar to my setup at the minute iv been putting the carbon filter halfway out of the tent and half in the tent so its pulling air from both tent and drying area i do have a door on my room so the negative pressure keeps all the smell going out the filter humidity is a problem im looking at getting a small humidifier for that problem

I have a humidifier in the tent which works really well when i turn the filter off for 15 minutes. better would be 30 minutes but then that smell really comes out. I am hoping that with a 2nd filter in the closet it would allow me to shot the primary tent filter off more and manage humidity more while addressing odors.

I use an air purifier specifically for harvest smells and also when the room is a little gamey. Works very well.
