If it's just the one fan leaf it's no big deal. I cut off loads to get light to bud sites.

Sent from my comfy chair.

heheh, have a look at pigeons' video here
he does his LST & accidently snapped a whole stem
(go to ~10:30)
fixed it up with some electrical tape and says she's just fine
can anyone confirm this?
i've been working on a kiwi yard and early season we've been cutting old branches off, only leaving the main stem and it's root system intact
then opening some of the mid branches to insert (kiwi) cuttlings, glue it together and there you have it - it magically all grows together!
i heard that's how they cross trees eg half apple/half cherry
kind of a weird manipulation (morally) i find
still, imagine you could use this in cannabis 'genetics'

Tape is fine. She will repair herself no problem. Unless the snap was all the way through.

Grafting is what you describe mate. I've seen many different strains of weed grafted and grown on one plant. Awesome stuff.

aah cheers for the word : grafting!
something new for my vocabulary
@James Walker: after rereading your post, you simply asked whether you should take off the branch that was connected to the leaf: do so, yes!
when you wrote "take off the whole stem and be done with it", sounded like you might as well stop the whole project now

@sumhanf yeah didn't mean kill the whole this just if I should remove the rest of the stem which I still haven't but I will when lights come back on in a couple of hours [emoji106]
