hi guys ..im wounded,today i went to situate my fan into a different position and it fell and the bottom branch coming directly off the main stem has snapped 80% off,ive tried to use tape and string to hold it in place.. im on day 41 with this auto and just gone into flowering stage..will the plant die? can i take off the branch or leave it on..its flowering on that branch aswell..im so guttered.:jaw:

I had a 20 day old White Widow auto. I broke the main stem at about the third node. I broke it all but completely off...........I propped her up, and tied the stem with yarn at the break site. I was sure she would die, it was 90 - 95% broken off. Thgree days later. it was healed enough to stand on her own. She stopped growing for about a week, THEN...........went on to become 43" tall and gave me 168 grams DRY! These plants can take some incredible abuse and bounce back, if you fix the damage right away!

yes pop, i repaired within 2 mins, doesnt look a great job but it will hold im sure ,i dont want my plant to grow anymore she 120cm now and i cant move the light anymore so going to try and do a little more lst on the tops, yr very lucky braking the main stem and still getting any kind of yield... wow :kusht:

Ease up on the un-needed drama

Parts of plants get hurt all the time. Just because a part gets hurt would not mean the whole plant would just up and die...think about it....why would that happen? It's just a side branch at worse case scenario. It looks like you did what you could to try to save it....good work. We all know every little bit counts but again it's only a side branch. No need for the earth to split open and swallow you, no need to break your own leg to kick your own ass.....now if you broke the main stem at ground level ...well then you could kick you own ass.
