Hi from the deep freeze!

The temperature made it almost to freezing yesterday for a time with 20-30 mile an hour wind. It was warm enough that the snow would stick together and the wind actually rolled the snow. Largest ones I saw were about 12 inches in diameter. First time I have ever seen this; our pastures are covered with them.

Nice haha! First time I ever saw these was last year; in a very flat, very open field. Thought maybe somebody had rolled them hahaha! Nature's a wonderful thing! Thanks for sharing bro! Isn't it crazy how you can go through so much of life and then experience something like that and go "how did I never encounter something like this before?"

Thanks SOH

There is always something new if you just look! Makes waking up everyday worth while.

There's rocks in the desert that only move a cm or two every day, wind or temperature variations I guess, but over the years the visible trail can grow to hundreds of feet long. Same type of awesome phenomenon... Mother nature must get pretty bored when she plays a game called "lets move this rock an inch today!" I guess thats how she calms down after hurricanes.
