Old Reviews Soil from IKEA

Anybody tried the "Peat-free potting substrate made out of the coir/coconut husk. This potting mix can be used for potting and re-potting of the most common home and garden plants. It contains adequate nutrients for the first 3-6 weeks of growth" they sell in IKEA?

I got me some but I only used it to germinate seeds in.

Never tried it but that's funny that IKEA sells soil too! What don't they make?....

Hey man. Welcome to AFN. haha. That is funny that IKEA sells soil. If it has enough nutrients for that long it may be too hot for baby AFs. Maybe not though. Try it out and make sure you let us know how well or not well it worked. We love information.

For 20 bucks you cant beat it.

Photo the fert panel on the back of the pack and post it here..someone will be able to check it out for you..see if it is too hot for germs..

Dang. They do look good. No offence at all dude but some AFs are super finicky and all are in general with nutes. We'd still like to see the fert panel though if you can snap a pic. Thanks

There's no fert panel or anything else other than what I quoted on the OP in 20 different languages Here's what the package looked like:

Hard to read. Is there no where that says the ingredients and/or NPK %s? They seem to be ok though.

Nothing else other than their logo and serial no/barcode. It was a dry block of soil 0.9kg, I added 3 liters of water in it and it expanded to ~10 liters of soil.
