Hey man, to get there - just water @ 6.5. Check your run off only if problems arise, it's a good way to dial in a diagnosis but if you're not having any issues you shouldn't worry about it. You're spending a lot of time watering soil that has no plant in it to try and change the soil pH, that's rather redundant and not the purpose of checking run-off. Run off is more of a "I'm having problems, is my soil PH really low or really high?" As well, even using just light mix, you don't need all of those nutrients for a seedling.. You say "in the res" what method are you using to grow? Seedlings in ANY soil shouldn't need nutrients for the first 7-10 days above soil, sometimes 10-14.

Thank you whatsgoodie2 , now I understood! So.. I'm growing two Automazar in pot with light mix soil and watering manually every 3 days.They are 10 days old so I think I can feed them, as you say and as plagron's feed schedule say. With res I meant a 1lt bottle with the solution in it.
hey borax if your going in at 7.0 and getting 5.9 runoff your soil ph is in the high 4's around 4.8... I would continue to water at 7.0 if i was you!! a little forumula i use and works for me is if you go in at 7.0 and 5.9 comes out theirs a difference of 1.1 .... so since its going down subtract the 1.1 from the 5.9 and thats a way i test run off!! For example today i watered my lady's at 7.0 and 6.7 was runoff so i am roughly in at that 6.4 range. I would use some dolimite lime if i was you although it takes about 3 weeks to start raising ph.. I will measure lime 1tbl to the gallon of soil!
